“The… everyone,” Flo sighed. “The stage-plays and the wire-dramas and the pulp-stories and the hard-bound classic tomes, all say it. The true heroes let go of their anger and spare the villain, so they do not become the villain themselves.”
Obs’ eyes narrowed, her hands squeezing Flo’s together. “And who curates this wonderful culture of docility? Of boundless reconciliation? Who established the inherent virtue of these clean hands?”
“Well… oh,” Flo said softly, her eyes fixed on the four clasped hands before her. “Yes, I see. The Delegation, and the Benefactors. They place their seals of approval on the books and playbills. I’ve seen them.”
“I know the stories well,” Obs breathed out. “After fighting through a faceless horde, the hero has the evil-doer at sword-point, but after a brief exchange — often shockingly brief — the yielding menace is rehabilitated, and the two become fast friends. A shame such compassion was never extended to the horde itself.”

I dabble. I'm playing VtM right now with a small local group. Exoceotus was imagined as a TTRPG system before I realized I wanted to write books. As for BitD, it depends. I'm a fan of some of Dishonored's inspirations, so if it's reminiscent enough of those, why not? Wouldn't be a priority though.

Do you like TTRPGs?? If so, have you played Blades in the Dark? (Wondering how your work relationship with Dishonored might influence your relationship to slightly derivative work that came somewhat of it)

The L-Bar isn't even popular, it's just the only bar that advertises itself as a lesbian bar, but there's no community there. Every queer person I know who's been there hates it. The owners are lesbians but pretty right wing and the place is full of men. There's tons of way better bars.

I sort of addressed this earlier but I'll try to elaborate. I've never had the urge to ever rank or sort things into favorites or top five lists. It's just not how my mind processes things I like. Certainly there's exceptions for specific cases, like Aubrey Plaza as my favorite Legion cast member.

Not since Ctrl Alt Ego. In my current headspace it's difficult to separate the experience of playing a game from the experience of being at work. One of those I can take a break from, the other not so much. As for favorite, as previously stated, I don't think this way.

Again, it fully depends. How complicated is the immigration going to be, legally? How willing are hiring managers or HR to put that much effort into the hire? What's the background or experience level of the candidate? I'm not sure what a country is known for in terms of industry output is relevant.

Since u r an immigrant, how are the chances of a western studio hiring someone not from the EU/NA? Most studios in my country are mobile Al slopfests or cryptochains. Last I heard a western studio hiring from my country is a few years ago
