Yikes, certainly a scary time. I just don't understand how climate change denyers can ignore evidence like this. The Gulf of Maine is the fastest warming body of water in the world. The lobsters are migrating north, and we now get white sharks during the summer, which seldom happened previously.

SAD (seasonal affective disorder) is a real thing that has physical and psychological impacts. I had a former co-worker that used a light box to help manage her depression directly attributable to the limited daylight.

I have a place in South coastal Maine, and the past 2 summers I haven't seen nearly as many Canadian license plates in the area, which of course hurts the local economy, but many people here understand and support the reasons why.
