It seems #SharePoint webparts just received a new visibility setting

At this point we're both getting so old I wouldn't be able to tell you 😂

Dan Toft @dan-toft.dk · 19/08/2025

Oh no, I thought this was common knowledge, I've legit been doing it since before I joined the MVP program 😅 - I just assumed I was late to the party 👀

Dan Toft @dan-toft.dk · 19/08/2025

Been doing this for years, but it seems to be a bit more hit and miss then it used to be 🤔 - but I still press just out of habit 😂

Ever wish SharePoint had SQL-style joins? 🧠 I just dropped a blog on using CSOM + CAML to stitch together multiple lists via lookup fields 🔗 It’s cleaner than you'd think 😉 Read it here 👉 jeppe-spanggaard.dk/blogs/joinin...

What bothers me the most is that some dev knew to make the check and write out "yourself" and not just my display name ... yet still decided to send the email 😅

The positive spin is I've now familiarized myself with Edge's registry policies so every new profile auto installs my extensions, and turns off that stupid profile switching 😂

100

Dan Toft @dan-toft.dk · 16/07/2025

Every morning for the past week my edge has deleted every profile I have, with seemingly no way to restore them, is anyone else facing this? - and has anyone found a reliable fix? 🤔

This has got to be the most useless email that M365 sends out 😅

Dan Toft @dan-toft.dk · 11/07/2025

To be fair, we both smile that same way when we get new Legos to this day, and that means we're not all that old 😂

120

Dan Toft @dan-toft.dk · 11/07/2025

Oh man ... 21 Years ago I got a cool Lego helicopter for my birthday 😅 - and you got your MVP Crystal, that would take me another 20 years .. puts it into perspective when I feel like I've been doing this for a long time 😂 Congratulations ... and thank you for everything you do for our community 🙌

My favourite part of Microsoft 365 Copilot has got to be generating "dummy" files that I can use in a customers environment for demo purposes - this beats "lorem ipsum" any day 😅

Dan Toft @dan-toft.dk · 02/06/2025

Nope regular old induction stove 😂 Best guess is just a really sloppy connection, slightly concerned that the 16 amp fuse didn't blow, stove started reporting weird error code, went to investigate, found this 😅

020

Dan Toft @dan-toft.dk · 02/06/2025

In case you're wondering, if you don't make your electrical connections connect properly they'll automatically fuse themselves together for a better connection 😅 (No one but some wires and my stove were hurt in the making of this photo)

Unfortunately screaming "Copilot is a security risk" sells better than saying "I don't understand the fundamentals of what I'm talking about"

Recently becoming a homeowner has taught me one thing ... You need a shit ton of tools 😅 And even if you thought you were kitted out, you weren't, I've now officially outgrown my toolbox I got when I first left home 10 years ago 🧰 The next logical upgrade ... A tool wall 🤯

One of those trips where you almost wish it was you and not your suitcase that went on the trip 😅 Except for it being in a very short timespan, so it probably didn't even get to enjoy it 😱

Anyone else experiencing "A case of the Mondays" today? - Power Platform being incredibly slow/failing out right - Hybrid connections failing, despite reporting all good

As a tall person, this kinda stuff really grinds my gears 😔 May the folks that invented this kind of sizing forever have cold ankles, and shirts that come out of your pants anything you think about moving 😅

But hibernation takes up as much space on my machine as I have ram, and also is slower to start What I love with the Mac is I just close the lid, pull it out a week later, instantly pick up where I left, as if nothing happened I still use windows for my desktop & work machine where it matters less
