Everyone else is doing it, so I figured I should too! It was so hard to narrow down to 9; I didn't even include the two games I have tattoos of! Also, a pic of me playing games. Older pic, but I wanted something relevant.

These are the games that in so many ways shaped my love of gaming. Car Wars and Digger, my first obsessions. Base Wars, the game I played over and over as a kid. Final Fantasy IV, my first RPG obsession. System Shock II, my first FPS RPG obsession. Alpha Centauri, for both grand and tactical strategy. Every Day the Same Dream, that really pushed games into art for me. The Stanley Parable, with its endless play and fun. And Destiny 2, a game which brought me into online clans.

8th Bingham down! It gets harder every time, but I still love it and my teammates. This year, I didn't manage much beyond playing. Even had to skip closing ceremonies and team dinner (got sick!) But I made it through 4 days of rugby at 43 and 400 pounds. That's a triumph.

Writing update! 345 weeks remaining until I can write full time. On the Shoulders of Demons is progressing, but slower than anticipated. Wrote first chapter of my 5th novel. Feel like I'm nailing the horror. I'm behind where I wanted to be, but I think my upcoming 4 books are special.

Three chapters left to finish the first draft of my 4th novel. Definitely the weirdest writing process of my novels. And the hardest since my first. Past 2 years have been hard. But here I am, pushing forward. Still writing. Accomplishing. And creating with joy. Life, in the end, is still good.
