I'll put extra Mama Advice here: Sometimes, it's okay to overreact and be a little dramatic. Sometimes it is needed for the moment. Afterwards you can reflect. Sometimes stepping away may seem an overreaction, but may be needed in the moment too. Even if it's just one or two days

Do not feel ashamed if you can't do the full counts! When I started this I could only do 4-4-4. Do what you can and you will eventually get there. Yes you will feel light headed so make sure you're in a safe stop to do so! Mama loves you!

Let's start easy: Breathe! Inhale to the count of 4 Hold to the count of 6 Exhale to the count of 8 When inhaling, fill your lungs from the bottom up and exhale completely. Do this 5-6 times. This is grounding breathing and can help you and your mind calm down and refocus

Random Mom advice: It is a taxing time of year for mental health. Take time for grounding breaths. Inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 6, exhale for 8. Fill from the bottom of your lungs to the top. Talk to someone if you need it. I love all of you
