I also have my full story statements from the submission but I just wanted to add some comments looking back at these pieces :33! Looking at them now has been saving my overly-comparative brain as I tend to put myself down a lot,, but these pieces and more do make me proud of myself <3

This was drawn with a reference of me and my girlfriend!! I believe that this is the happiest piece I have so far and I think that really shows through the coloring and rendering :33!

This was likely the easiest piece to make as the sketch was an image I saw in my head, however, its the piece that really turned the portfolio around for me as it was the first piece I had without any faces.

Dont ever let the voices win, you are stronger, you're the one thats in control of this life, so take its hand and jump because youll never know where youll land.

This piece took me forever to get right as I kinda lost steam at this point but it came to me while I was talking to myself, self love really can change a lot..

I had so much fun with this fish eye lense experiment! I was also leaning into the more messy look as it sped up my working time but also let me have fun with rendering :)!

The second piece was a doozy for me to make as I havent done much background heavy art before but I wanted to explore more into different perspectives! This portfolio was also amidst my personal healing process <3

At the beginning I began sketching in pen as I didnt have a clear idea of the medium I wanted but I ended up scanning the poster pencil sketch and finished the rendering digitally. I do have a story to tell but I think its more fun to see how everyone else interprets it :33

For artists new here or anyone who doesn't know yet: You can add tags to your bio that let people see all your posts using this tag. It works like a media tab but better since you can choose what you want to show! Just add the tag and choose the second option when you click on it.

A vintage-style drawing of a mother rabbit and her three daughters, all dressed in their finest Sunday dresses. The mother holds a lace parasol and a bouquet of lilies and the girls each hold a single lily.

A photo of a woven tapestry blanket hung from a wooden pole against a white wall, a house plant and chair on either side of it. The blanket features 3 country cows looking through a barn door set in a brick wall decorated with flowers and foliage.

A drawing of a bunch of fat round green blob frogs splashing around in a wooden bucket in a garden, a faucet pouring water on top and plants in the background.

Artshare!! Here's my art, please share yours below if you want!

Fanart of Bridget from Guilty Gear Strive. The illustration is cel-shaded with solid black. She is looking off to the side and smiling, adjusting her gloves. The background is made of pastel pink, white and blue.

Fanart for "DanDaDan," a Japanese anime and manga series, depicting the two main protagonists. Momo Ayase takes up the bottom half of the image, resting a finger on her face with a green background and cow being abducted by a UFO behind her, while Okarun takes up the top half of the image adjusting his glasses, a red background behind him with Turbo Granny in her original form superimposed behind him. Both characters are cel-shaded with black.

There are two doodles of Turbo Granny in her cat form either side of Okarun looking suspicious and relaxed. Framing the picture on the top left and bottom right are film reels with panels from the manga redrawn in each one.

Fanart of Melinoe from Hades II. It's a waist-up shot, she is cel-shaded with black and raising her skeleton hand. The background is a purple sky with muddy green leaves and a giant moon framing her head. The style of are is inspired by 90s shoujo anime.

Fanart of Hatsune Miku. The illustration is cel-shaded with solid black. Her hands are linked together and she's winking cutely at the camera. The background is pink, with the silhouettes of white flowers framing Miku.
