Secret guilty pleasure, my local Aldi has a drinks section that is cooled. If I am picking up a few groceries I grab a Pina Colada can for 99p ($1.33) as a refresher when I get home. The rest of the time it is English ales.

With the expected unconditional surrender, I see Trump has said he wants "a GREAT AND ACCEPTABLE leader". So he has indicated who should be the new supreme leader of the Islamic Revolution & most high ranking cleric for Shia Islam in Iran. #Iran #Trump

In 2003 I won the Chesterfield & District Midweek Cricket League trophy for batting in Division 3. The Midweek League has no regulations saying that it cannot be revoked, shared or transferred so I now recognise that the real worthy winner of that prize was President Donald Jessica Trump.

As in recent years I will not be sending Christmas cards but will buy the tealights used for the SpireLights so that all donations go the the @spireitestrust.bsky.social. So enjoy this I produced for the former players that is based on the 1913 County Hotel where the club had been headquartered.

A sepia image of the County Hotel, Chesterfield where the football club had been based taken in 1913. It shows a horse and cart outside on the street with a man driving the card and another man and a boy close by. A sign reads "Head Quarters of the Chesterfield Town Football Club". The photo has been enhanced with colourful christmas clip art and "Happy Christmas" in bright blue.

I am anti-fascist. Both my grandfathers served fighting the Nazis, one in the Army, one domestically in the fire service; I am proud of both. President Trump would designate me & my grandparents as terrorists for opposing fascists. This says more about the current US administration than me!

In my opinion, any post that suggests that any information is heing held back when there is an ongoing investigation suggests a cover up and supports public disquiet. Not the best response.
