Latest steam frame and steam link beta made it really unstable on Linux for me, also my left controller keeps mid identifying my fingers as if they are curled down on the controller and stuck there even if the controller is completely off my hand Cmon man it's too early to be like this >.<

Oh another note, if you are going to add a tracker to the steamframe the comfort strap on top feels even more necessary for the weight mhm mhm Might not need it for fluxpose

I always tell new ppl they are doing great by doing so, and any time I talk to VRC people about resonite I always include that detail encouraging them to talk to people. I haven't made a video in ages, but even my videos say to talk to someone for this very reason too :3

010

Dalek☕🫰 @dalekcoffee.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

I remember my first vr friendships starting off literally just talking while exploring that first world experience. I also heavily regard my worst resonite descision being world hopping alone and not talking to anyone. I didn't understand it and I didn't play for a whole year.

....having a few interactible objects would help when population is low AND help start conversations with new users about those objects! I say headless so that the new user's experience with many people can be a bit more performant as well

000

Dalek☕🫰 @dalekcoffee.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

Maybe give people an option when they finish the tutorial? Go to home - Go to (Insert designated resonite provided headless OR dedicated world many of us donate a headless to like we do for other newbie worlds) I definitely agree ....

When that feature went away and the default experience was moved to your private room, it felt nice as an experienced user, but I didnt think much about that new user community experience that was lost

001

Dalek☕🫰 @dalekcoffee.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

Now that I think of it, that is a GREAT idea, a default world everyone joins. I know its maybe rude to bring comparisons into question but one of the most core memories I have of a certain other VR platform was the experience of joining a lobby surrounded by others.

I kinda wanna be a huge nerd and replace all my monitors with either a quest pro setup or one of those fancy glasses display setups. 🤔 If I was to do that, I could get more desk space and more pegboards and card displays xD

Tonight I open the last 2 packs from my booster box, I have 12 loses and 2 more sealed boxes coming in!. I think With those I'll move ripping to every sunday at 9 instead so its more predictable, and maybe I rip 3 or 4 per sunday instead :3 #palworld
