I wanted to write a #scifi full of contrasts, and I know that’s a risk in the genre. The stereotype is highbrow technobabbling in space & alien wars. One of my MCs lives in perhaps the most dangerous neighborhood in Lima. She’s blind and has no access to most things. Hard pill to swallow. 💙📚🌎 🪐📚

I can’t imagine scientists funded by govts developing anything that would actually help humanity. Too much money involved. It’ll be for profit and or political interests. But what about the people who get mixed in those “developments?” What about their lives? To me that’s interesting so I wrote it.

I used the strange Title of The Weaving Spider & Moth because some moths also weave their own cocoons, so regardless of one being a hunter and the other being more of a prey, they’re still seen as “undesirable little creatures” by a lot of society, and they weave their own thing to survive. 💙📚🌎
