Dalan K. @dalank.bsky.social · 02/08/2026Bid farewell to my Coda pre-amp today. It was shorting out, forcing me to re-record larger and larger segments for my YouTube narrations. Now I have a new Klark Teknik MC Booster and it feels like I upgraded. Clear sound, very little noise. I'm happy with it. 000
Dalan K. @dalank.bsky.social · 01/08/2026The sad thing is, folks already set in their ways with their opinions - the ones who REALLY need to hear this - won't listen. Pretty sure there are still shrines to Wakefield out there somewhere. 010
Dalan K. @dalank.bsky.social · 30/07/20262 weeks ago I wound up in Urgent Care with my left leg extremely inflamed and swollen painfully. I know what it was (Cellulitis), but I haven't had an attack this bad in years. Shakes, sick, weakness...the whole 9 yards. Now, 2 weeks later, I'm doing better. Got meds, and not in much pain anymore 010
Dalan K. @dalank.bsky.social · 17/07/2026I foresee a whole bunch of pink Rhinos with cat ears this year. I'm soooo here for it :) 000
Dalan K. @dalank.bsky.social · 05/07/2026I just realized that since late 2024, I've been spending every Saturday (save 2 when I was sick) visiting my oldest brother, who's been in an out of hospitals and care homes all this time. He's been settled in one place for a while now, and is free of infections, but man, what a ride it's been. 000

Dalan K. @dalank.bsky.social · 24/03/2026So this happened last night :) I've been grinding for this for a while...so glad to finally make it. Just 9 more to go I think :P #warframe 020
Dalan K. @dalank.bsky.social · 22/03/2026I like the fact that in order to buy this pin, #warframe checks your account to make sure you've reached MR30 :) 130
Dalan K. @dalank.bsky.social · 15/03/2026Finally ordered my #warframe Mastery Pin. I love that you actually have to verify being at least MR 30 just to order it :) 010
Dalan K. @dalank.bsky.social · 15/03/2026I've found that narrowing my scope has helped a lot. Are my friends OK? Is my family OK? Are my loved ones OK? Am I OK? If I can answer 'yes' to those questions on the daily, then all is good. Those things are what I can control (mostly). 001
Dalan K. @dalank.bsky.social · 29/01/2026More voice work, but with another channel now. This one's more focused on long-form historical content. I'm really impressed with the production quality of these: www.youtube.com/watch?v=iDe4...youtube.comInside Pompeii's Final 24 HoursYouTube video by Rune 000

Dalan K. @dalank.bsky.social · 31/12/2025Ya gotta love it when the doggo enters a room ahead of you, and by the time you get there, she's just sitting there looking at you among a pile of bodies going "Well, what took you so long?" :D 010

Dalan K. @dalank.bsky.social · 31/12/2025GF and I were running Omnia fissure on Lua. She's running Protea, me Uriel. She pops out a Citrine specter. Citrine drops *that* crystal just as the Thrax guys show up. She then pops the turret. I blink. Nothing but Lua Thrax Plasm to collect. We're both speechless. Total Cheese :D #warframe 000
Dalan K. @dalank.bsky.social · 24/11/2025I had a 'second wind' in #warframe, having a friend start the game up and helping them run through it. I have to say, the game changes when you're on Discord with someone and you're laughing/cursing through the missions. 000

Dalan K. @dalank.bsky.social · 04/08/2025So, a random thing happened today: I got a message on FB from an old girlfriend, asking me where my book was published. Apparently she wants to show it to a friend of hers as a point of inspiration, as they're dealing with the writer's blues. 010
Dalan K. @dalank.bsky.social · 04/08/2025On the *ahem* other app, I've been watching this new person going through the #WARFRAME story quests, and seeing their honest, heartfelt reactions just makes me smile. I feel bad though, because when they hit 'Sacrifice,' ooh, that's gonna hurt. 000
Dalan K. @dalank.bsky.social · 04/08/2025I hit mine about a month ago after 7+years of playing. Now I have to keep remembering to bless folks each time I visit a relay :D 010

Dalan K. @dalank.bsky.social · 26/07/2025And don't forget, these 'moral crusaders' supported and defended the movie 'Cuties,' so really, are they honestly paragons of morality? I think not. 000

Dalan K. @dalank.bsky.social · 24/07/2025Social media becomes the experience you make it. If you like arguing, you can argue. Wanna look at cute furry pics? Done. Wanna check out music? You can do that. Any app's level of 'toxicity' is directly affected by what you go looking for. :) 110
