Doesn't look like much, but when you consider what it started out with.. (btw, the background meadow is my neighbors yard. Putting this in along the property line)

Threw together a little quickie.. going to a brunch party tomorrow and figured I'd have these to hand out. I made them business card size, eight to a sheet; so printing three pages gave me two dozen which should be plenty. But I might print off more if I can think of good places to drop them off!

My little doggo took one look at this and wouldn't even let me leash him up until I shoveled a clear path from the back door to the low side of the drifts. Even then he got halfway down the drive then noped out and headed back to the house 😏🐾

Snow drifts up a driveway that have buried the snow shovel (at right) halfway up its blade. Planters in the front right corner are covered in snow, while the black trashcan down the drive mostly had the snow blow around it.

Finally finished the tree. My decision of where to put it this year - it'll be behind the sofa once I put that back in place - made this a more complicated process than in years past.

After I got the back bed planted (the rest of my annuals - FOR NOW) I moved all the extra gardening stuff that landed on the porch when we moved in and never left to the garage. And then I had a nice sit-down on the porch with the dog and read awhile. I've missed being able to do that.

This weekend i am grateful for my late mother's gardening bench - just look at this little beastie. Works as a seat, flip it over and it's a kneeler. With handles to leverage my tired old butt up from the ground no less. Grateful to come from a gardening family. 🥰
