Already off to a great start of tryna show off my new OCs... made another. So, on the right is Reebs/Erebus. Whom some of y'all have met. But on the left is Noor. The "harsh light" to Reebs' "gentle shadow". #wip #footfetish #art #illustration

On the right sits Reebs, wearing a baggy beanie, a sweater, and jeans. His toenails are painted a dark, yet glossy color, and his left foot (sole facing his right) is scrunched.

His vibe is half asleep, but enthusiastic.

On the left, sits Noor. She an athletic young woman wearing a crop t-shirt and shorty shorts. Her hair is fair and wiry. Her tight foot is ever so slightly scrunched, revealing slightly thickened ball of her foot, likely from running. Her face is one of simultaneous disgust and intrigue.

It was everywhere. I don't remember when exactly, maybe 2010s, but I do remember that the constant witch hunting over traced art got so bad people were shaming professional artists online for photobashing for their jobs that alot of industry types removed their draft mockups from their portfolios.

While everyone's on the topic of references... Ya know how many ships I had to look at for a comm? I couldn't find one of the angle that was wanted in the comm, but I still glared at 18th century ships for like 2 months just to internalize and practice drawing ships just to get one I liked.

LRS "woke" is Black Vernacular English and dates back as far as a Lead Belly song from I believe the 30's (and probably further than that), it means "stay aware of the struggle" basically, its use in right-wing discourse is entirely intentional because the idea of staying woke is anathema to them
