Me: "I should fold the laundry before I go to bed tonight." The cat: *races into the bedroom ahead of me while I'm carrying a load of clothes, jumps up onto the bed, walks onto the shirt I started with after it's halfway folded, sits down on it, and then falls asleep* Me: "...or maybe not."

We need a buddy-cop drama about cybercops policing LLM models producing biased or unverifiable output and similar problems, justified by the fact that the models are unable to determine their own truth from within their systems. It would be called "Tarski and Such."

One month ago, I took my 12-year-old tuxie cat to a vet specialty clinic for radioiodine therapy to treat her hyperthyroidism. She'd been through a lot, including the discovery that she did not tolerate the primary medicine used to treat the condition, which led to a lot of not eating/throwing up.

Just learned about AGI-based floors for deductions for charitable giving that were rammed through as part of the OBBBA. This sucks: if you itemize, it makes regular giving to support charities' ongoing needs harder, and it discourages giving to a variety of causes.
