Spending an absolutely glorious fall morning at Gladfest watching a parade, smelling barbecue, and having the best time people watching.

Bright blue sky with the sun behind the apartments. Street lined with people waiting for the parade to start. Unfortunately you can’t smell the barbecue from the photo.

Doesn’t sound dumb at all. It feels like blind luck sometimes - the right time the right light, everything. I think we’re a little desensitized in the age of technology when everyone has a camera and editing software and AI. A great, raw photo is just special.

A coworker today hung up his cell and said in a rather disgruntled tone “do you have a wife?” (Like that’s a bad thing) I wish I had a wife. Do you know how much easier my life would be with a wife? Even if we shared wifely duties, it would 100% better than having a husband.

I have cooling pillows and cooling sheets and a cooling comforter 😂 it only works if I move around a lot but the placebo effect is strong
