I’ve been using Linux a bunch for work in the last month and just haven’t bothered trying to get the speakers sounding good. Everything else is working great tho.

The issue is that all laptop speakers suck, on windows (and Mac) the manufactures fix the eq response in software in clever ways that they don’t bother shipping to linux. Fussing around with software fixes like that guy mentioned are the only chance of success I think.

Group chats seem safe so far. In that, if someone started dumping chatbot output into a group chat, you’d just kick them. There’s some kind of reputational safety there. Will we need to be vouched for by confirmed real humans in order to enter human spaces?
