Had to walk through the area where the dryer vent for the apt bldg is when I got home 2 hrs ago. I've not been able to get the oppressive scent out of my nose since. My throat hurts, runny nose, having to clear my throat, and violently sneezing 🤧

This is Arthur. He seems to have misplaced his legs and needs your help to find them. They are about one inch long and Arthur-colored. 13/10

a brown dachshund is a loaf on a cream-colored sofa. none of his legs or paws are visible. he appears to be biting the corner of his lip, perhaps nervous that he's misplaced all four legs at once.

I attended the weekly protest for Palestine/Lebanon this afternoon and evening in Ottawa, and I’m trying to make sense of the level of police brutality and repression I saw with my own eyes. I’m still processing, but what happened tonight was a display of fascist violence.

A few years ago I found this hummingbird nest in my parking spot. It had been blown off a tree after the babies fledged. I saw it as I got out of my car…I’d driven over it. Incredible to see that it was not damaged. And incredible structure design! #nature #hummingbird

Hummingbird nest in the palm of my hand. There’s lichen, moss, bits of fur, and likely spider web used to construct it. The inside of the nest is lined with soft materials. It is very stretchy.

WIRED has tracked thousands of US military & intel personnel coming & going from classified sites, incl. NSA hubs & nuclear vaults. We know where they sleep, what they eat, and which brothels they visit. It's an ocean of blackmail & national secrets within reach of every spy agency in the world.

Anyone Can Buy Data Tracking US Soldiers and Spies to Nuclear Vaults and Brothels in Germany

More than 3 billion phone coordinates collected by a US data broker expose the detailed movements of US military and intelligence workers in Germany—and the Pentagon is powerless to stop it.

This bomb cyclone on #VancouverIsland is intense. A huge chunk of arbutus tree fell into my mom’s backyard. There’s branches all over the roadways. Highways and roads are closed due to debris/power lines down Power is out in large sections of VI. #BCStorm #BombCyclone

Hannibal Lecter would've been a better nomination for HHS than RFK Jr.

Who knows the Barbapapa family? What country did you live in when you read their book or watched their TV show? I watched their show in Canada!

The lightning we could see here from the island across the ocean was mind boggling. Incredibly bright. I think the cloud cover on the mainland made it so dramatic. Our living room was lit up with the flashes.

"More people die from the vaccine than from the disease itself" is actually a huge vaccine success story. Pre-vaccine it was 200,000 deaths a year, now it's 100. It's the stupidest talking point.
