Panel 3: The perspective zooms out and we see that Garfield is laying on the television and has clicked it on for warmth. The TV has a person reading from a cue card, possibly a newscaster or talk show host. Garfield is smiling and has his eyes closed.

Panel 3: We zoom out to show an alley with trashcans, a dumpster, and apartment windows, some with fire escapes. Garfield, small and silhouetted in the background, asks "ANYONE HERE?"

a three panel garfield comic from november 25, 1982. 

garfield is in jon's bed, taking off his pillowcase. he thinks, "if i were to come back to this earth, i'd like to come back as a pillow".  in the second panel he has gotten into the pillow case and is sitting at the head of the bed. jon approaches sleepily. garfield thinks "i could lie in bed all day". in the third panel jon is fully tucked into bed with his head on garfield's lap. both jon and garfield look very happy. garfield thinks "and people would put their heads in my lap and go to sleep"

garfield leans against a wall in a green and brown sweatshirt. in the second panel, he has sunken a bit into the sweatshirt so the collar is up to his eyes. he thinks "there is one thing i like about this sweater". in the third panel he has fully sunken into the sweater so his head is not visible at all. he snores, with a large "Z" in his text bubble.

garfield is on a shelf with several flowerpots. he has just pushed one off the shelf and there is a big CRASH! 
in the second panel, he turns his head and with a scared look he thinks, "uh-oh! here comes jon". 
in the final panel garfield has contorted himself into a flower pot shape. he has taken the flowers from the pot next to him and is holding them as part of his disguise. jon looks at him angrily with his arms crossed.

a seven panel garfield strip with a title card. 

the title card has "garfield" written on a #2 pencil. the pencil is in the process of drawing garfield on a paper taped to a wooden surface. garfield is pointing at himself thinking "is this my good side?"

in the first five panels odie and garfield are sitting outside in the grass with a mud puddle between them. odie flicks some mud onto garfield who looks surprised. garfield smiling turns to odie and returns fire while jon peaks into the scene. garfield and odie begin to wrestle in the mud while jon gets a running start to cannonball into the mud puddle. all three of them splash happily together. 

in the second to last panel jon, covered in mud, laying in the mud puddle, says, "gee, that was fun, boys, but i gotta get ready for my date at seven" in the final panel, an angry looking woman dressed for a date looks down at a muddy, surprised jon, who says "or was that six?" garfield looks amused.

a three panel garfield comic from june 12, 1984. in the first panel garfield is sitting on a countertop with drawers. jon is standing in his pajamas handing garfield a plate with a piece of raisin toast. jon says, "every morning for nearly six years now, i fix raisin toast for garfield". in the second panel garfield is opening one of the drawers while jon says, "he loves his raisin toast". in the third panel garfield is dropping a raisin into the drawer while jon says, "what's in the drawer?" garfield thinks, "a six-year supply of raisins"

Panel 1: Garfield is standing on the front stoop holding a book that says "Bird Calls". 

Panel 2: He pulls out a whistle and goes "TWEET" the speech bubble has little music notes inside. 

Panel 3: His face lights up when he hears the same "TWEET" with music notes coming from out of the panel. 

Panel 4: He takes off running down the sidewalk and blowing the whistle, chasing the response. 

Panel 5: The tweeting gets faster and doubles up "TWEET TWEET" and the response comes "TWEET TWEET". 

Panel 6: He comes running to a corner where the tweeting is coming from. 

Panel 7: He turns the corner and comes face to face with himself, both Garfields holding the whistle to their face frozen in shock.

Panel 3: Jon's sweatshirt suddenly unravels leaving only the turtleneck with a string leading to Garfield's mouth where the noodle was. He looks surprised as Garfield thinks, "Sorry about that".

Panel 2: We see the slightly parted bathroom door from the hallway, a speech bubble from the bathroom (probably an electric razor) says "BZZZZZZZ" and a thought bubble says "Wait a minute!"

Panel 3: Later on, Garfield and Jon are having coffee, Jon in his pajamas, Garfield with the lower half of his face bare of fur. He looks surprised at Garfield and says, "Whaaa?" Garfield grumpily holds his coffee and thinks, "I forgot I was a cat, okay?"
