I want the Sims Team to boycott. In fact, I want the entirety of EA's dev teams to ditch the company. I would love to see the Sims Team prosper under a company that cares about them and their fan bases. They deserve to be the creative geniuses we know they are.

The EA aquisition is 100% right wing infiltration in order to erase one of the longest running inclusive games ever made. If I were on #TheSims team, I'd value my morals more than my paycheck and gtfo. If you have to reiterate what your values are, it's because you know they are under fire.

Omg, the art style would translate really well, honestly even the chance cards could be utilized. Building sets and such from scratch. It could be a spin-off game, like Life Stories and Sims Medieval. This is a grand idea! I approve this message 😆

They will rinse and repeat. Probably make it even worse with microtransactions and advertisements. And only God knows what the acquisition is going to do to the future of the franchise. The community needs to stand up and boycott EA.

In the meantime, #TheSims4 is about to become the cable TV, low subscription tier of Life Simming while costing the most. Please, do yourself a favor and refrain from giving EA your hard-earned money. Don't give into the FOMO. Treat yourself with better, more positive gaming experiences.

It saddens me that we are watching the downfall of a franchise that many of us grew up with. That this franchise was destroyed by greed. All is not lost, though, as the modders will fix and undo all EA has done to soil it. The faster EA stops touching it, the faster the game will actually be fixed

Dear #TheSimsCommunity, While I no longer play #TheSims due to my own morality and views of EA, I want to express my disappointment for you. It is insane to me that a game that costs over $1000 for full content has become the worst cash grab while entirely ignoring the fans for over a decade.

C'mon guys, I know tons of you come from The Sims. Why is it so hard to understand that mods need to be updated with the game? Be patient with the devs and modders. If you think the game is broken, remove your mods. Do the 50/50 trick. Pay attention to the dates of game and mod updates.

I have Sims 3 installed through the EA app, but I haven't touched it since January. As for Sims 4, I stopped playing and uninstalled it over a year ago.

I also want to point out that after removing all of my CC, I was left with 47 mods. After adding the CC I really wanted, I am up to 67 with no issues right now.

I had this occur. How I fixed it: I removed all CC, but not the actual game changing mods. I loaded the game, it worked fine. Then I went back and added a few BB packs. Loaded fine. Then added some PAM CC, loaded fine again. I do know know that Skyzee's CC triggers it immediately.

TwistedMexi is one awesome modder. However, to expect a fresh community to accept the fact that the exact same practices will transfer over isn't realistic in any way. Especially when the dev team has promised a single $40 game for all features and fully integrating mods right out of the gate.

It's important to understand that each game community has their own terms and conditions. With #Paralives, it is brand new for players. Most of which come from #TheSimsCommunity. Allowing the same practices from The Sims over to Paralives will harm the game and community in exact same ways.

#TheSimsCommunity practices that I believe should be kept solely for The Sims (Feel free to comment yours!) 1. Paywalled content (Including Early Access paywalls). It's fine to ask for donations in regards to your #Paralives mods. 2. The MM/Alpha debate. 3. Criticizing others' creations.
