Digitally this looked bad, so I got out my trusty sketchbook. Quite happy with the result so far! Marona is as bloody and ragged as she is to communicate that she can barely stand anymore, let alone take another hit. This is her last stand. #PhantomBrave #Marona #WIP #Sketch

105 hrs: I beat the main story of Phantom Brave TLH!!! For all the disdain or hate I see TLH get for not being the original or better, TLH is honestly really good for what it is. Thankfully, I still have NG+, Post-Game, and all the DLC to 100% this game, so I'm not done yet!

I think I finally have a rough idea for a panel layout for the scene in my head that I want to capture. I'm not a manga artist or anything, but I think it's decent enough. It will be fully colored and probably made into a type of Swirled Abstract. It's bound to be interesting.

Day 8: Plant I wonder who remembers Phantom Brave #PKArtober2025

4 different Putties, a creature from the video game Phantom Brave, walking down a sloped tree stem. The two main characters from the game look at them from the background. A traditional ink drawing.

Often I wish Phantom Brave and PB: TLH were more popular! 😭🥴😮‍💨 Maybe a little selfishly motivated as it would mean better information access and guides to help me with prepping for post-game content. I'm scared of burning out like I did with the first game.

Still loving Phantom Brave TLH atm, but after 74.5 hrs, I'm starting to feel a little burned out from the grind - and I haven't even beaten the first play through! There's all the DLC and NG+ still to do. I'm going to have to re-strategize if I'm going to avoid full burn out.

Day 2 of figuring out how to make this hand-me-down tablet work. Made some adjustments to the outfit. Thankfully, I'm on Thanksgiving break, so I had time to play 3 hours of PBTLH and redraw the first design, but better. I feel a lot better about this second attempt.

The concept stage has begun for the Bao x PBTLH mash up. Slightly redesigned her new Rockstar outfit with Mer Diva in mind. The outfit might not be it, but I do like the hairstyle. Please pardon the sketchy lines. I'm using my brother's old HK13Pro and it's not very good

Over 50 hours in on Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero, and I'm starting to think of a Swirled Abstract. I'm starting to get that itch to make art again. Would anyone be interested in a Phantom Brave Swirled Abstract? The original or the sequel.

There is nothing quite as gut wrenching as an artist to lose all your progress on your current project 😭 Today, my laptop decided to not work, had to reinstall Windows and lost all my local data. Good thing I had most of my stuff on my hard drive, so I didn't lose everything!

Have you ever been afraid of messing up something you started because halfway done, it just looked too good? I finished the pencil sketch of SA 94 and I'm afraid of messing it up by continuing! I've been sitting on it for a week now...

3 Swirled Abstracts in 3 days is a big deal for me! I don't know if I'll ever be this productive again. Maybe it's going back to my roots and doing traditional SA's with Prismacolor. Maybe it's having someone inspire and encourage me. I don't know, but I'm feeling grateful.

Aghhh!!! I lost my drawing pen for my zenbook flip! 😱 Well, that puts a wrench in my ability to create art... I don't know what I'm going to do. I want to make more art! Maybe I'll go back to my roots and do Prismacolor on sketchbook pages. I just don't know if I have the time.

I don't usually reccomend games, but Lost in Random has been fantastic. I was initially drawn in by the comparison to Tim Burton's works and stayed for the story and unique combat system. I may even make a Swirled Abstract of it- even if it will tank. I love it that much!
