From what I have noticed, there is a subset of parents that don't view school as a tool for the education and betterment of our children and future. They view it as free babysitting. Which is of course a huge disservice to the children and teachers.

I believe Gitlab just uses the Bearer token for authorization but there are some APIs that require you to login first, to generate another authorization value and pass that to every single call you make. So just make sure to pay attention to that. 2/2

The main thing to remember and recognize HOW the authentication is being passed. If it just wants the PAT (Personal Access Token), it will most likely need to be in a Authorization header. So it would look like this {"Authorization": "Bearer *token*"} inside the header field in the call. 1/?
