Today I'm gonna be trying to put together a home theater setup and it's low key stressful. How does one do surround sound without tripping hazard wires everywhere?! Also I've never messed with speaker wire before. Also i have to reorganize a bunch of my consoles to make space which is tough.

So after the movie I pretty abruptly and almost rudely abandon the friends I get to see sometimes less than 1 other day in a week to go talk and spend time with them. Cause, I would love to hang out more and they seem like they wanted more company. They blow me off. Leave, activate do not disturb.

Wifi came back on around 8. Oh cool I still get to be stoned and enjoyed a movie night with my friends. Hop in and have a pretty good time. My friend I spent the entire previous day with joined but left shortly after saying something along the lines of "wanted more than corner sitting".

Wake up today, no internet. Slept in super late since I was up late. Went back to bed out of boredom. Wasted day, didn't even do a lick of the chores I needed to get done because I'm still recovering from sickness. What a fuckin waste. Forced myself to get 1 chore done at 7pm.

I spend an entire fucking day with someone. From when they woke up to when I had to sleep. The whole goddamn day. Then my wifi goes out at night and I can't fall asleep with them again on call/in VR Chat. No big deal just an annoying mishap that soured the night a tiny bit.

This movie was really neat. An absolute mess to watch, but it feels like a 10 hour movie because of how much they cover. Like the title insinuates the pacing is extremely fast. It doesn't remove from the absurd eye candy though. One of my favourite movies I've seen stoned.

I spent the last 5 hours listening to music and playing video games on my own. Being nocturnal can feel pretty lonely, but it's also nice to just decompress and enjoy the noise. I feel weird asking people to spend time with me anymore. I'd rather they show up when they want to. It's easier that way

I genuinely think I'm this way because I'm critically self conscious. Exclusivity is hard for me. I didn't try "dating" until I was 20 and that was painful. It's like, I want everything from someone, and I'll give them so much back. As soon as "monogamy" comes up I flinch. So I lose them in time.

So when I can't ever lock down with someone, and they give me everything they've got; but I can only give what I'm not afraid to, it always leads to this weird temporary affection. Like fast food you stop at on a long trip. It's nice at the moment, but afterwards I always end up feeling like shit.

It's hard for me to tell if it's infatuation, desperation, genuine romantic attraction, or something else entirely which makes this all so frustrating. It's why I'm non-Partnering. Can't really bring myself to date someone when only occasionally can I feel attracted to them, and that shit fades.
