My composition was inspired by Florence's new Rabbit Heart visualizer (www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Nik...), along with the Virgen de los Siete Dolores by Romero Zafra. Also I used this particular photo for an idea of how one might hold a rabbit one-armed, found on a Zarina_Fashion advertisement.

I was told for a very, very long time that I flat out just wasn't creative, from as soon as I could be graded on it and up through my teen years. To my face, on report cards, by my peers. Kind of an insane thing to hear, and definitely still affects how and where I feel comfortable sharing things!

Some context for Home, because posting that prompt made me feel really raw. Adeline's story contains a constant struggle over having autonomy of her mind and body. Her relationship with her echo and her job/soul stones is a horror story, where if her control slips, it has significant consequences.

This challenge has been exhausting and has drained both my creative energy as well as my desire to be on socmed. I've gotten way too much attention for comfort. On the other side: it has been rewarding to experiment and push my comfort zone, so I'll do my best to see it to the end.

😭 Thank you- I actually struggled a lot with how I wanted to portray this, and I'm still not entirely sure I'm satisfied with it. Ultimately though it was a word that spoke to me more on a personal level as a creator, rather than something I felt I could apply to her in a meaningful manner.

#Febhyurary Day 15: Brand I went with something that spoke more to me personally; after all, I make her hair and clothes. I drew her scars myself. I added her ears, I customized her eyes and eyelashes, I did sculpting on her face. If I am a brand? Then she is both the face and the muse.

Thank you 💖! Shards in shards- I'd thought initially about trying to arrange them to doing it more mirror style, but shards ended up being an easier effect to work with, since trying to merge that many broken reflections would've been a bit nightmarish when I thought about it.
