The carthusian monks that it was built for lived secluded in separate cells which were essentially individual houses with a little garden. They were fed through a hatch and only came together for communal prayer.

Wishing you a speedy recovery! Mine was mostly fine. The painkillers helped with the few days of soreness. The op itself was less fun though. The doctor learnt about my extraordinarily high resistance to anesthesia.

I spent 5,5 hours in my car today for work. At least I got so see the remnants of the old Winterslag mine in Genk. Unfortunately, the museum wasn't open. The coal mine ran from 1917 till 1988 and the neo-classical / neo-Flemish renaissance buildings date back to the 1910s and 20s.

Had a great and romantic night out with my wife of now exactly 11 years. We decided last minute to get a hotel room so we could both drink and because we're ballers (ed: they are not, in fact, ballers). Happy wedding annivesary honey! Oh, and it's Valentines day, so happy that as well.
