Financial success and stability can just arrive quietly I remember spending decades agonizing about how to “get there” and then I just noticed one day I could stop doing that Hope it helps your peace of mind

Cabinet in the Woods is over and with it the first ever (to my knowledge) Wii-playable Mystery Game Bracket. This took a lot of background effort across months to put together and I'm really happy with how it turned out.

Lotta new followers after cabin! So nice to meet you all - gambling on the bootleg video game at the kbar and winning $250 of soju followed by karaoke to midnight is a really good summary of where I’m happiest

Was excited for this one. I worked on ArcSys's Qliphah in Providence's Shadow as editor! Rena's reminiscent of Ragna the Bloodedge (fun for this Blazblue girlie). The VN-like story is eerie but straightforward, the battle system unique, and the presentation stylish. It's also only $25! Check it out!

Best way to get into anything that keeps getting put off is simple “ Tomorrow never comes Do it now “ Can’t even be “today” if you want it to work, the problem is it has to happen when you’re thinking about it If it can’t, reminder/calendar for when you can, and don’t miss

Part of it is just practical, I’ve been out of my house half the days of the last 3 months with no room to stay warm in all the games I like. Death sentence in the rollback era, nothing to be done about it and it’s no one else’s problem - but music I can take my time with

Definitely feeling the competitive drive give way to art and music lately Inspired by people places and things, and a lot more talented than I used to be “dacidbro” feels like my competitive self, but a new account is usually hopeless for reach - not sure what to do with that yet

Get well soon!! Any major disruption to routine takes weeks to internalize, physical/chemical impact might be the culprit Be kind to yourself and try to get at least decent sleep and just tank through it, just escapism and immersion that shit til some time passes you got this

If you ever need a silver bullet though, “risk tolerance” phrases cuts through all kinds of chatGPT-isms -What is this, and how sure are we it will work? -The event has to succeed, I’ve never tried this -Stability could be an issue -Is this secure to data leaks? Use in AI infested interviews too!

I get so many more requests at work that immediately make me think “How did you even come up with that?” And it’s AI It’s always AI And since I work in audio visual and events, the suggestion usually has obscenely poor risk evaluation and tolerance, and it’s up to me to notice and decline 🙂‍↔️
