📬 Absentee ballot applications are now available! New Mexico voters can now apply online for an absentee ballot for the 2026 General Election at nmvote.gov.
Instructions for requesting a 2026 General Election absentee ballot online. Step 1: Visit NMVote.gov. Step 2: Select “Request an Absentee Ballot Online.” An image of the NMVote.gov voter services page highlights the “Request an Absentee Ballot Online” option.Online absentee ballot application instructions. Step 3: Select “General 2026” from the election menu. Step 4: Enter the required information, including New Mexico driver’s license or New Mexico state ID number, the last four digits of the Social Security number, and date of birth.Final steps for requesting a 2026 General Election absentee ballot online. Step 5: Review the application information to make sure it is accurate. Step 6: Confirm that all information is accurate and complete, then select “Submit.” The application requires voters to affirm that they are the person identified on the form and that the information provided is true and correct.2026 General Election absentee ballot application is now available. Voters may request an absentee ballot application in person at the Doña Ana County Clerk’s Office at 845 N. Motel Blvd., Las Cruces, New Mexico; by calling (575) 647-7428 and requesting that an application be mailed; or by downloading an application at DACElections.com and mailing it to the Clerk’s Office. All signatures must be original; stamped signatures are not accepted.

📢 Election Watcher/Observer/Challenger Training Alert! 🗳️ Doña Ana County Clerk’s Office is hosting mandatory trainings ahead of the 2026 Primary Election. Per NMSA 1-2-22, attendance is required before appointment.
Flyer for “Challenger/Watcher/Observer Training” for the 2026 Primary Election in Doña Ana County. Trainings will be held at the Doña Ana County Government Center, 845 N. Motel Blvd., Las Cruces, NM 88007. Session dates and times are: April 29 at 1:00 PM; May 4 at 3:30 PM; May 15 at 1:00 PM; May 20 at 2:00 PM; and May 27 at 1:00 PM. Note: New Mexico statute NMSA 1-2-22 requires watchers and challengers to attend a training session before accepting an appointment for an election.
