True. My point is simply that people claiming the majority or even half voted for him misses the point. It is not that the Majority is hate filled. The apathetic and complacent NON-VOTER is actually the majority. Apathy is as damaging and poisonous, if not more damaging and poisonous than hate.

Book cover for the book Naked in Death by J. D. Robb. It is the original Blue Body cover. The Culver is silver gray there is a blue body under a pink blanket with with blood that creates a butterfly on top of it. I chose this particular cover deliberately. It was the cover when I first read the book in 1995 before I even knew that JD Robb and Nora Roberts are the same person.

Yet, they are not completely socialist all have regulated capitalism and a billionaire class. When I was on Twitter someone from Finland tired of people calling them democratic socialist rather than a social democracy posted these. He noted would not want to live a completely socialist nation.

My sister disowned me because my husband said "your body, my choice" to her during a heated argument

My husband (36M) and I (34F) have been married for 8 years. My sister (31F) has been my best friend for my entire life. We are really close.
Last night, we went to my sister's house for a few drinks and snacks (something we do often). We were all drunk so we inevitably started talking about politics. My sister freaked out when she realized my husband and I voted for Trump because she assumed we'd vote for Kamala. Things got heated and my husband ended up saying, "your body, my choice" to her as a joke. I had seen the joke circulating online so I knew what he was referencing and laughed. My husband and I are both pro-choice and it was just a joke.

My sister started screaming at us to leave after he said it. I tried calming her down by saying he was just joking but she wouldn't listen. She asked me if I was okay with what he said and I said yes because he was only joking. He has dark humor so he often says shocking things for laughs. She ended up physically pushing us out of her house and slammed the door in our faces.

We called an uber and by the time we were home, I had received a long text from my sister. She said she never wants to see me or my husband again because of the joke he made. I was devastated because she is my sister who I love more than anything. I tried telling her that politics is not worth destroying our relationship. I told her I'd never let anyone hurt her and it was just a stupid joke that was circulating online. She said she will never feel safe in my husband's presence ever again and that she will never see me the same. This is the first time my husband has ever said a joke like that to her so she has no reason to feel unsafe around him. I think she misunderstood the joke and thought he was threatening violence when he was just making an abortion joke.

This is why I'm Pro child rights and anti-parental rights. The US was only developed democracy to not adopt the UNCRC in 1990. This is because (Christian) parenting groups lobbied that givng Children Human Rights would infringe on their rights as parents.

I am tired of cringing when I see the American flag, so I designed this dragon. Due to my disabilities, which make it hard to consistently design, and a dislike of the marketing process design is a hobby. (Other than uploading simple things on stock image sites to pay for the programs I use.)

Edna St Vincent Millay ,😍 Openly queer (bi/polyamorous) preferred to be called Vincent. A conscientious objector during WWI, yet was firmly pro fighting fascism. Her poem "Not for a Nation" scorned American Nationalism. She also addressed the treatment of POC in a poem written for D-Day. #poetry

I kept getting Trump Mailers. While we do not register by party in GA it does show which primary election you chose to vote in. I always vote the Dem Ballot. (As you can see when pulling up my voting history.) I only stopped getting them after I voted.

Neutrality is a myth. It is tacit support of the oppressor. Example: Switzerland prided themselves on "Neutrality" Yet refused Jewish refugees sanctuary while allowing Germany to run death trains across their borders & use their banks to house money and valuables they had stolen off their victims.
