These saplings seem fine. It feels relatively calm just now. You wouldn't think there was more high winds forecast for later. So there's lots of people here. #StormAmy #Edinburgh

Rest of Inverleith Park not much damage for now. Just a few branches down. Might be worth closing the gates though.

Huge limb fallen 5 metres off a tree onto the path round the pond at Inverleith Park. You can still get round by walming on the grass. #StormAmy #Edinburgh

RBGE gardens currently closed to visitors because of #StormAmy . I hear they've sadly had damage to glass panes in some glasshouses, not the Palm House. And a couple of trees damaged too. And more high winds still expected! Be careful out there people! ⛈️🌀 #Edinburgh www.rbge.org.uk/visit/royal-...

When people work together to protect the environment, that is a source of comfort and hope. Ecosystems can recover, life flourishes, hope springs eternal. data-4-climate-action-edinburgh.github.io/home/ABCD_Re... #WorldEnvironmentDay
