So, in essence, the character IS going away forever. It is a form of "death." And after hearing someone speak for 5-6 hours a week, not ever hearing them again is hard. We will grieve. A pleasant voice in the dark is all some people have sometimes. And Fauna was one of the best.

In 7.5 hours, a great vtuber, Ceres Fauna will be graduating. The thing about graduations is, we know the person behind the face is not dying. And we may find out how they're doing or maybe hear their voice again. But we will never see anything new from Ceres Fauna ever again.

I walked past a woman putting up Christmas lights and told her they looked wonderful and she almost started crying and I was like OH NO WHAT DID I DO and she told me her husband usually did it but he died in February and she was really glad they looked nice because she's never done it before 😭
