When you click on new game the first step is to create your character, which is the WIP screenshot in the second image. Players can cycle through 7 possible background stories and see the associated stat modifiers for each background.

Then after dark, I nearly got sprayed by a skunk! Skunks come out in the evening and can spray you. When sprayed there is an effect (an awful smell of course!) on the player that will need to be cleared.

I went in a different direction and saw an Elk! Elks don't mind the rain as much as rabbits but come out around the same time of day (dawn and dusk). They are more rare though!

But then I saw a bobcat that was out looking for rabbits! I was happy I didn't get too close to it, since I didn't feel like doing combat.

Next I saw a rabbit that got scared and ran away as soon as it saw me! Rabbits come out for a few hours at dawn and dusk, but don't like the rain.
