I think people laughing off Trump's actions over Greenland are missing the wider implications. The US capitalist class has decided that climate change IS going to happen and they are maneuvering for the Arctic, to get the oil and shipping routes. Stayed in a hotel this week and so caught some "news" on CNN. It is WILD how much of it is just blatant propaganda and/or advertising. I'm not under the delusion that news programs were ever fair or truthful but it is way worse than I remember it being when I used to religiously watch political news
