I wouldn't call myself an expert, but I made some notes to process some observations of feathered wings and thought I'd share. If it's useful to you too, I'd be glad. Not intended to be scientific or precise so take it with a grain of salt!

Leveled up my cross stitch box with an iliawall sticker from @lhtiriekko.bsky.social 🥹💚

Cute chibi style sticker of Blackwall and my Inquisitor Ilia sitting by a campfire roasting marshmallows. She's sitting on her knees cute af and looks so pleased about her marshmallow, and he has cute blushy cheeks. The sticker is on a clear box and you can see a selection of enbroidery thread on bobbins inside.

Commission for @kccodes.bsky.social on #Vgen ! Thank you for trusting me with iliawall <3 #vgencomm

Art of a pairing holding hands, the character on the left, Ilia, is wearing a blue blouse with bronze detailing and has red hair. She's looking lovingly at the character on the right, Blackwall, who's an older man with black and gray hair on a tie, wearing a padded jacket and gloves. They have a simple green gradient background.

Sorry

A really messy beginner pencil drawing on a post it note of oliver sitting on his throne with a pleased expression and holding up his finger to point (it does not look like a hand; I just kind of scribbled because how tf do you draw hands??) and the word execute.

Part 2 of the post it note pencil comic. A sad penitent blackwall stands in front of a crowd of stick figures here to watch the drama. Peeking out from the side is a very angry ilia with her arms crossed. Her expression says "you better fucken not."

Part 3. Wide eyed, Oliver reconsiders. I tried a little harder on the pointing hand this time, but its objectively the worst drawing of a hand ever made, so i wrote sorry next to it. The sorry is for the quality of the drawing, not to represent oliver saying sorry. Sorry for any confusion.

Last panel. A close up of Ilia's angry eyes with big scribbly pupils.

@cypjj.bsky.social and I have created the mod of all time: the Trevelyan twins Ilia and Oliver finally exist in the same universe together 💞

Oliver and Ilia standing together in a cave. The lighting is gorgeous and they are gorgeous. Oliver is a human man with tan skin, brown hair, and a beard on his chin. Ilia is a human woman with red hair in a bun.

Oliver and Ilia having a chat with Blackwall in the Western Approach. Oliver is wearing a leather coat over an embroidered shirt (cypii is an artist 💕), Blackwall looks like...Blackwall, and Ilia has on the bare minimum of armor a warrior can get away with and a greatsword on her back.

A screenshot from the battle of Adamant. Ilia holds up her hand to get silence while Blackwall and Oliver stand behind her. They always have her back.

Ilia, Oliver, and Blackwall in the fade. Ilia looks sad and both men are looking at her with concern.

‧͙⁺˚*･༓☾　The Mage　☽༓･*˚⁺‧͙ Unrealized potential, indecisiveness, restraint, resignation, waiting for the inevitable, the calm before the storm. #DragonAgeArt #DAFanFriday #oc #tarot

A stylized drawing of a Dragon Age themed tarot card loosely inspired by The Magician and The Tower. A young mage dressed in blue robes stands tall at the forefront. He looks sad, tears falling from his eyes. The simple staff on his back has an infinity symbol at the top. The mage's arms follow along the diagonally positioned staff; his right arm is pointing downwards while his left arm is gently lifted upwards.
Behind the mage a tall white tower surrounded by water rises all the way up to the sky. Two crows are flying near the top of the tower; one looks to be departing while the other seems to be arriving. The sun is shining bright above the tower, its rays reminiscent of golden chains that reach all the way down to the water below. The weather is calm, but dark clouds can be seen gathering in the horizon.

This counts for free day right #DorianWeek2026 #pavelyan #oc #rkgk

A loose sketch of Oliver laying on his stomach on a bed, hair down on loose curls and wearing a dressing gown.
He's twirling his hair and kicking his feet while reminiscing what Dorian had said to him earlier:

"If it's a trap, we go in and kill everyone! You're good at that!"

"Do you really think so, Dorian...?" Oliver is blushing at the snarky comment, which he seems to have taken as praise.

A vibrantly colored tarot style illustration of oliver, a human male with slightly tan skin and long, brunette hair braided into an updo, in the midst of battle. He's wearing a heavily armored battle mage coat, adorned with a variety of intricate details and patterns as well as chantry and circle regalia. A serene aura surrounds him as he marches through the raging flames of war with calm, focused determination, mage staff in one hand and spirit blade in another, ready to challenge whoever dares approach.

I think one of the hardest things to learn as an artist is accepting that not every piece will be great. Some will be just okay, some will kinda suck, but finish them anyway. Get things done. One mediocre piece doesn't define your skill
