if any of my etsy clients see this- I had my helper send out a mass message to everyone with open orders updating them on whats been going on. ill try to answer everyone when I can!

000

rip theyre sending me to the ER again. this time i am prepared so I can at least get some work done while im there. oof

000

like healed enough that I lowkey forgot how messed up it was & went to fist bump my s/o yesterday- when I tell you that hurt so much I screamed & regret was instantaneous, i am not joking 😅

000

the good news is that my hand has healed up enough that I can finally finish the rendering on all these sketches I have ready. my foot is still busted up but i dont need that to draw so. the silver lining i suppose

100

trying to run an art business while disabled adds a whole level of struggle ppm dont usually talk about & since im only in my 3rd year of my shop im still trying to learn how to balance these two immovable objects in my life. ): ill get the hang eventually but man its rough out here

Cy @cyphochilus.bsky.social · 01/04/2025

having a severe allergic reaction to a new med & spending the whole day in the ER was not what I wanted to do yesterday and yet... ):

100

I started the month with 50 people in my queue & Im down to about 20 even with my broken hand so even if Im behind Im at least making progress

000

Cy @cyphochilus.bsky.social · 01/04/2025

when will i learn my mailman will never actually pick my outgoing mail up even if i request a pick up?? just found an order I mailed friday still in my box.... it's monday night 😭

000

still making slow progress on my queue & almost thru a large chunk of private or patreon only comms so ill have stuff to post soon :3c its been a while!

000

i actually feel terrible bc getting sketches ready is one thing- i can be kinda messy & clumsy with those. but the rendering... makes me want to switch back to my usb tablet just so I can get a decent hard edge ;m;

100

been trying to make use of the down time ive had lately while my damn broken knuckles heal by being productive in places i dont need my hand so much. you really dont realize how much you use a body part until you cant use it anymore huh ;w;

000

here is a "map" with easier to see/pick colors in case anyone wanted to make their own fan paint brushes ^u^ I'll upload a free layer PSD version to my ko-fi when I have a more free time between commission work !
