My store is back open with a few items! Have enough energy to put together these packages, so if you didn't get my little art/sketchbook the first time (because it sold out), this is a good chance to do it! chanchauart.com/shop

Elise(age 9) :No.

Panel 2:
Alex: oh, COME ON! Mom is working and you’re just reading all day!

Panel 3:
Elise: so?

Panel 4:
Alex (age 7) SO that’s BORING! And I’m BORED! I wanna play with you!

Panel 1
Elise: No, I don’t like going outside.

Panel 2
Alex: All kids want to play outside! LITERALLY ALL KIDS!!

Panel 3-4
Elise: well I don’t want to. Quit being sooooo annoying.

Panel 5
Alex: you’re no fun! Why’re you so weird!!

Panel 6
SLAM
Elise: …I don’t know.

Panel 1
Alex: MOM!! Elise won’t play with me at all! All she does is draw, read and ignore me! It’s not fair!!

Panel 2:
Alex: she won’t play like other kids. Makes me mad!

Panel 3
Mom: Well, Alex, Elise isn’t…well, LIKE other kids. She’s wired a bit differently from you. That doesn’t mean she’s broken.

Panel 4
Mom: I struggle with her too. But we love her so we mustn’t give up. You just need to find something you two can connect on.

Panel 5
You’re a smart, sweet kid, bug. You’ll figure something out

i love indie comics, i love writing comedy, i love lucky pocket!! excited for y'all to read my newest travel comedy comic that'll be in @luckypocketpress.bsky.social's Knapsack Magazine volume 2 🌟💞

A comic panel in monochromatic reddish-orange depicts a self-portrait of Cynthia yelling "대한민국 만세 Daehan Minguk Manse (Long Live Korea!)" while raising their arms. The people around Cynthia all react in shock.

A crop of a comic page in monochromatic reddish-orange depicts a self-portrait of Cynthia dreamily looking at various Korean dishes. The dish shown most prominently is labelled as yukhoe (raw beef).

fictional boyfriends, in the pages of my books 📚

The main character is a person with short wavy hair, who is laying on the ground. They are interlocking fingers with a man that is half-emerged from an open book which lays on the ground. The man from the book rests his head on the main character's arm tenderly and looks at them with a gentle smile, while the main character returns the look with a yearning gaze. All around the main character, are more books strewn about on the floor. Many of the books are closed, but of them five other books are open. The other books depict various men in romance story type settings.
