And you just vetoed AB 1729 to put 100,000 more cars on the road. How does that help Californians with the skyrocketing gas prices? @governor.ca.gov @jensiebelnewsom.bsky.social

@governor.ca.gov seems a little hypocritical when you are willing to add nearly 100,000 cars to the road with your silly RTO policy for no good reason other than you want people to “fall in love” at work?? State workers don’t get paid enough to afford EVs, we’re driving gas guzzlers. #notoRTO

Glad to hear! I guess @governor.ca.gov will be rescinding EO N-22-25. Telework is a perfect example of a way to “reimagine the system” and “democratize our economy”. Why send our economy backwards…no to RTO.

@governor.ca.gov , did they ask about your EO N-22-25, unilateral return to office mandate? CAP seems to strongly advocate for flexible telework and work-from-home policies, as vital tools for promoting gender equality and expanding economic opportunities for workers w/disabilities. What say you?

Tone deaf…kinda like @governor.ca.gov EO N-22-25…”gas prices are up over 50%” so let’s force State workers back into the office to do the exact same job that can been done remotely…Californian’s deserve better.

As the Governor says, gas prices are rising, so…wouldn’t a logical response be for the Governor to rescind EO N-22-25 and allow California State employees to continue working remote? @governor.ca.gov @jensiebelnewsom.bsky.social

Telework = Worker-centered innovation. EO N-22-25 is setting California workers back by decades.

And yet with all this hardship, you are still pushing State employees to return to expensive leased offices to perform the same job that can be done remotely. Telework is climate-smart and fiscally responsible. Governor, rescind EO N-22-25

Really? It doesn’t feel like the Governor is. His EO N-22-25 RTO mandate will, beginning July 1, put an additional 100,000 cars daily, on California roads. Definitely destructive to California’s fight for clean air. NotoRTO

You could argue that your partner’s RTO order is a handout to real estate and oil moguls, at the expense of our climate, our kids, and our State workers. Rescind EO N-22-25.

Yes, agree federal regime is unconcerned with our environment. But, Mr Governor, look in the mirror, you are responsible for putting nearly 100,000 more cars on California roads with your unilateral RTO mandate aka EO-N-22-25. Result=More smog, more asthma, more pollution w/your executive order.

Mr Governor look in the mirror, you are selling out California taxpayers, California Climate Initiatives, and California State workers with your EO N-22-25, which is fiscally and environmentally irresponsible. You are selling out to Big Donors and Making California Smoggy Again.

Easy way to “lower costs for California families” = rescind EO N-22-25; stop the return to office. If you really want to lower costs why won’t you do this. What’s the REAL reason for RTO mandate? You are willing to increasing spending on office space, equip, etc when we are facing a budget deficit?

cynrin.bsky.social @cynrin.bsky.social · 10/05/2025
Can we sue our own Governor for his trump-like RTO mandate. Rescind EO N-22-25. In a time of budget crisis it’s fiscally irresponsible to acquire new leases & equip to bring State workers back in the office. Current telework policy saves taxpayers money and is in line with CAs environmental goals.

cynrin.bsky.social @cynrin.bsky.social · 09/05/2025
Mr Governor, it seems you are “hellbent on Making California Smoggy Again” by adding nearly 100,000 cars to California’s daily commute, for no other reason than because you can. Rescind EO N-22-25. No to RTO

Help mothers be there for their kids instead of being stuck in traffic commuting to an office to complete the same work they have been doing successfully via telework. Encourage your partner to rescind EO N-22-25, RTO mandate.

cynrin.bsky.social @cynrin.bsky.social · 08/05/2025
Have you considered the negative impact on Mothers of your partners EO N-22-25, mandating working mothers to spend multiple hours commuting per day rather than spending that time raising their children? Seems a bit hypocritical.
000
cynrin.bsky.social @cynrin.bsky.social · 08/05/2025
You say we should provide “support for our children”. So why are you mandating that their parents spend 2 hours a day in traffic that could be spent with their children? Your EO N-22-25 is a direct attack on the well-being of California families. Rescind your RTO mandate.

cynrin.bsky.social @cynrin.bsky.social · 08/05/2025
Thank you for fighting the federal gov on behalf of California. But don’t forget to pay attention to Gov. Newsom and his “trump-like” policy regarding telework for State employees. EO N-22-25 is in violation of CA Gov Code.

Rescinding the Governors RTO mandate and allowing the continuation of current telework policies would be a tremendously effective way to protect the environment.

How hypocritical. If you care about traffic—if you care about not being late to work, coming home to your kids, and saving your time…then why in the world are you mandating a unilateral return-to-office order? Makes zero sense. Unbelievable!

Please ask Gov Newsom about his EO N-22-25, blanket RTO mandate is an absolute failure to our planet and California’s climate issues by unnecessarily increasing carbon emissions with the increased cars on the road, and a failure to State workers who serve the people of California everyday.
030
cynrin.bsky.social @cynrin.bsky.social · 28/04/2025
EO N-22-25, blanket RTO mandate is an absolute moral failure to taxpayers footing the bill for increased costs for office space/equipment, failure to CA’s climate issues by unnecessarily increasing carbon emissions w/increased cars on road, and a failure to State workers who serve CA everyday.
000
cynrin.bsky.social @cynrin.bsky.social · 23/04/2025
Happy Earth Day…now get your butts back in the office to do the exact same job you have been doing remotely. Nevermind the additional tons of car emissions and the increase costs to taxpayers for new office leases. Doesn’t matter if it makes sense, just do as I say.

Let’s not increase the costs for State Employees by rescinding your Executive Order mandating RTO. Why should taxpayers foot the bill to add office space to house these State employees when they have proven to successfully serve the state and its stakeholders remotely.
