Very important findings - AI records use active voice for men’s needs and passive for women’s, thereby underplaying women’s challenges. Where have we seen this before? Definitely an urgent issue in social care. The biases must be addressed before they become entrenched in social care recording.

This case of a 14 year old boy sent from UK to Ghana is a tale I’ve heard many times from Black parents in my research.
