Skogskyrkogården is lowkey my third space bc I have genuinely had so many fun encounters here. This time: a Japanese priest who pilgrimaged here after reading about it in a jp book I’ve never seen. I showed him the jp Asplund books I know about, one of which I later saw in the visitor centre shop.

Haha fair enough, I remember it’s not your thing! I would recommend the restaurant, slightly upscale but PC is worth it + great food and wine. Although Operan is about to close for 5 years (🙃) for renovation and who knows if it’ll finish on time, so we were making the most of it while we could.

Ah, I assumed you would know this one (lowkey surprised that you don’t?). It’s the little restaurant Bakfickan at Kungliga Operan. Peter Celsing designed the interior. No bookings, walk-ins only, the trick is to run downstairs after the show finishes and get ahead of the line!

Haha yes they are all dual language, English + whichever Nordic country it’s about. I would recommend them, they are slim but rich! The PC volume is the best imo. Fehn one lowkey disappointing (nothing I hadn’t seen before) but the other architects who I didn’t know about were great bonuses.
