I finally bought a piano bench and it's already being occupied by one of the cats.

Rare candle appearance?? My coworker's birthday was a couple of weeks ago, so I made her a candle as a gift. It didn't turn out perfect (too much fragrance oil), but I thought it was pretty.

Made some pumpkin cream for cold foam. My mom loves it, and starts talking about it as soon as August, so I'm late. Hopefully she's satisfied. 😅 It tastes like liquid pumpkin pie, so I can't blame her for ranting about it.

I never really get overly teary-eyed over celebrity deaths, but I did get that way when I heard about Dolly's passing. As a Tennessean myself, I will never forget the amazing impact she had on my home state. Fly high, queen.

This popped up and it makes me miss doing archery as a hobby so much. I need to get my bow back out. Really need to buy a new string though because my current one is nowhere to be found.

The water in the town just a few miles from me is contaminated with diesel??? Nobody can use their tap water for any reason. What a time to be alive.

I'll be posting more Warframe content soon. I've just been super busy for the past few weeks.

She's getting her supervised outdoor time

I keep changing my shelf decorations around because I can't make up my mind. I found some cheap LED candles today, so I tried them out on my candelabra.

I was wondering why I couldn't see a damn thing out of the lenses of the oculus I made for my Loid cosplay. Turns out, I forgot to take the protective covering off of one side of the PETG plastic. I literally found out last night. 🫩

Sometimes it's just comforting to chill in a dimly lit room and play the piano until you get sleepy.

Hayley @cydoniandrone.bsky.social · 01/08/2026

Making it a goal to get into 3D modeling. I've messed with blender a few times, but I really don't know what I'm getting myself into. I do feel like it would help out a lot with cosplay though.

Out of all the places in the bed to lay, you chose my hip?

Hayley @cydoniandrone.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

I finally got my piano down here. I really underestimated how heavy it was. 💀 At least the room looks more complete now!

020

Hayley @cydoniandrone.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

Seeing myself normally vs in cosplay always blows my mind tbh. Never really thought I could pull off blonde, but I guess I did it. 😂

I really need to fix my 3D printer when I get home. Rods need to be greased, and the whole thing just needs to be dusted off. I love it, I built it, but I swear to god it pisses me off sometimes. I do have more cosplay plans for this year which involve printed parts though, so it needs to be done.

I should've known just to put my Caliban poster next to the Temple one, but I thought it would be too close. I think it looks decent enough. I also ended up bringing my grimoire that I bought at Tennocon last year and put on one of my shelves.

Hayley @cydoniandrone.bsky.social · 24/07/2026

Framed my Caliban poster. Now to figure out where the hell to put it.

The nurse I work with made me dinner while I went back to check on our patient. 🥺 I never asked her to, but I couldn't appreciate that more.

Roaring Knight Titania? Roaring Knight Titania. I know this has already been done, but as someone who loves both Deltarune and Warframe, I wanted to give it a shot too. The syndir ephemera is perfect for this look.

Started off the morning by spending an entire hour helping my mom get one of our cats into a carrier for a vet appointment. He's skittish, and hid everywhere he knew to hide. We finally got him, and I'm beat.

Took off for work, didn't even get a mile down the road and my PSI was off in one tire. Turns out there's a big-ass nail in it. 🫩 Glad I have my old car to take to work. I've been stressed about it all day. Also thankful my mom has extra tire plug kits.

I should really be in bed, but I decided to frame my Temple poster

I hate how the only way caffeine affects me is through nervous energy. Like, I'm not anymore awake/alert, but I AM sitting here bouncing my foot at lightning speed.

000

Hayley @cydoniandrone.bsky.social · 16/07/2026

Shift is almost over. Caffeine is helping me thrive at this point. I'm so ready for bed.

010

Hayley @cydoniandrone.bsky.social · 16/07/2026

Tailcoat tails before and after. The ones on the left are the ones I made last year. Didn't like how much detail was lacking, plus, they just didn't *flow* like I wanted them to. I'm so glad I remade them.

010

Hayley @cydoniandrone.bsky.social · 15/07/2026

Back to work. Kinda wish I had the rest of the week off. 😅

010

Hayley @cydoniandrone.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

Kinda weird waking up from a nap in my actual bed. I say this because I have a tendency to fall asleep at my desk and my neck hurts like hell when I wake up. I fell asleep sewing one day last week if that tells you anything. 🫩

020

Hayley @cydoniandrone.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

I'm making it a goal to remake a large majority of my Loid cosplay. There are just a few things that are irking me, and I know I could do better. One thing I know is that I absolutely will not be using thermoplastic for the arm pieces on the sleeves again. Big mistake. I couldn't move my arms much.

030

Hayley @cydoniandrone.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

I'm honestly still riding the high from tennocon. I can't get over how many people interacted with me, and that includes one of the warframe devs.

040

Hayley @cydoniandrone.bsky.social · 13/07/2026

Made it home. Now I have to try to reset my sleep schedule for work next week. This will be fun.

Hayley @cydoniandrone.bsky.social · 12/07/2026

Me: Oh these ankle boots shouldn't be too bad to walk in this weekend. My joints: Say that again 👀 I'm so sore. 😅 Cosplaying in my 30s is definitely has me learning about my body's limitations, good god. Being flat footed and hypermobile really put me in my place lmao.

120

Hayley @cydoniandrone.bsky.social · 12/07/2026

Let me just take a moment to thank everyone, online and in person, who complimented my Loid cosplay. I had no idea it would get this much attention. I am my own worst critic, so when I had all my pieces put together, I saw it as less than satisfactory, but you all definitely proved me wrong.

020

Hayley @cydoniandrone.bsky.social · 12/07/2026

Fun fact: I had to use maple syrup to reattach my beard yesterday because I was not about to walk all the way back to my hotel room in that heat to grab my spirit gum. Thank you to my brother for such an off the wall suggestion.

The aftermath. I'm not exaggerating when I say my jacket was stuck to me. Its been hot.

The only thing I don't like about this cosplay is that it's almost entirely made of faux leather. Faux leather doesn't breathe, so I was sweating buckets last night and I'm surprised I didn't sweat my beard, mustache, and glasses off. 🤣

Hayley @cydoniandrone.bsky.social · 11/07/2026

The reason I had to drop out of the cosplay contest is because I had an anxiety attack. That was triggered by my cosplay being on the verge of falling apart just before my prejudging slot. Someone said I cosplayed Loid so hard I got his anxiety, and you know what? Yeah... 💀

010

Hayley @cydoniandrone.bsky.social · 11/07/2026

I cosplayed Loid today at TennoCon! Due to rather unfortunate circumstances, I wasn't able to take part in the contest, but everyone's cosplays looked amazing. I'm so glad I was able to debut this cosplay after working on it for ages. #warframe #tennocon
