I made a little project for the GMTK gamejam 2026 for fun. The theme was countdown. Most of the visuals are done with shaders and the animations with tweens. Both of which I’ve barely used before so it was a good learning experience.

Kitty and Bunny ramen °~♡ #blender #b3d #3Dart #art

The ramen cup has a label that was drawn by me, the ramen has green onions, and two Narutos that are cat shaped, and there's two chopsticks with cat heads on the top. So I started retopologizing the 3D version of my logo and these little cut outs in the shape have been absolutely diabolical to get to work with the beveling. Is this something that actually makes sense or is there a better way?

Something that I hope I’ll always love doing is learning new features and tools to create with. This week it’s Blender geometry nodes. Starting off with some cube instancing and displacement! This mostly utilizes math nodes combined with the grid and instance nodes. It’s a pretty fun puzzle!

I switched web hosting over to Netlify this week. So I’m going through a website redesign and update too. So far I really like Netlify. Their free tier was so simple to get set up. Just got the one page for now but I’m really looking forward to adding more and trying some new layouts.
