They have a hate boner for all things American, especially when they feel like it's "woke" and they see Japan as this paradise free from it all and seeing translators "perverse" the original text irks them to no end. They see it as tampering with already perfected arts despite the obvious barrier

At the end of the day people just want good games with no strings attached and Nintendo basically does just that lol. NSO games are at worst tolerable and otherwise you get the bang for your buck with every game they've released on both Switch consoles.

Every endorsement I've seen always talks about the "personalization" of it. You can replace the actors, the gameplay, the lines, make your own stuff exactly how you want it. Sounds nice on paper but ultimately it's as you say, no one has a shared experience because everything is personalized for you

I've been noticing this for a long time. The death of social interactions and friction becomes you just have the "perfect media made with AI". It feels like that's the main selling point of AI.

In their minds I'm assuming it's because the AI is making THEM feel horny in a way they like, but when they see queer creatives make horny content that arouses them it frustrates them because they aren't gay trust us.

I'll always be reminded of the Unicorn Overlord controversy and how stuff like THIS was seen as BA. By added that makes it more interesting to read in English. To this day I still fail to see this viewpoint at all, Japanese doesn't translate to English well at all and we lose so much from it

Absolutely insane this is just the norm, all these assets just disappear as soon as a show ends and can only show up when someone does something they aren't supposed to do. Why is it normal for these companies to sit on IPs and their assets long after they don't even make money off it anymore?

Combat could be fun, sometimes. When it isn't just the same 3 human enemies over and over and over again spammed x100. Exploration was okay but again there's nothing else but the overworld. It really felt like they put all of their eggs into the "do anything!" angle and developed nothing else

I was just doing things because I could, the story wasn't intriguing Kliff was so bland you could be convinced he was an MMO protagonist (he was at one point at least) and there was basically ONLY the overworld to explore. Sure it was large but that's it, no dungeons, no caves. Nothing.

I played the game, I enjoyed a bit of the game. But after awhile I started realizing "wow there's SO many things to do! So...many things I really don't care about doing..." and as I continued something kept itching the back of my head, I wasn't enjoying myself.

There's a large subset of people, especially in the AI enjoyers group, that just wants to make everything exactly how they'd like it. It started with "fixing" female character design and it just got worse as the technology got better, now people are making whole game conjoining bullshit

Yeah it's totally possible, the issue isn't that Arin can't do it at the same time though the issue is that he just sucks at video games period. He plays every game, no matter when it released, like an NES game, rarely actually learns how to play and sticks with shitty tactics he built himself
