Couple things. 1.) Love how this app almost never works for me. Really makes it a usable platform when it takes half a dozen attempts just to get it to load the feed. 2.) The recent “AI in VP” debate has been a great reminder of why I have a love/hate relationship with social media. 🙃

Absolutely insane to realize I’ve been part of this team for three years as of this week. Even crazier to think I started a week before my daughter was born. Did my first shifts from the hospital room in between tests, consultations, and her arrival after a long labor. 😅 The adventure continues. 🤘🏻

I am extremely easy to make very happy. Simple things like seeing my shot included in this announcement are always surreal and super cool to me. 🤘🏻

Karma: The Dark World We are governed by monsters who would rather live as the last kings atop a mountain of bones than build a dignified, equitable world which is safe for us all and our children. Fuck the fascists. Do not comply. #KarmaTheDarkWorld #VirtualPhotography

So I recently discovered this Unified Lara mod for Rise of the Tomb Raider, and I’ve suddenly forgotten about everything else I’ve been playing. 😅 #TombRaider #VirtualPhotography

Instagram is annoying with its aspect ratio limitations, but the upside is that I can attach music to my work. Great for me, unfortunate for your ears. 😂 www.instagram.com/cybertribal8...

So … hello again, butterfly app. 😅 I’ve been away for the last eight months because staying consistent with one social platform is hard enough for me, let alone multiple. But the way things are going with Twitter, I’m probably going to start being more active other places (engagement be damned).

MAY IS MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH! 💜 i saw a quote today that read, “heal loudly, we nearly lost you in the silence.” instant tears. to suffer alone is to suffer even longer, my friends. in case no one has told you lately, i love you SO much & am proud of you. you are worthy of life. always! 🫂

TN takedown maybe? They do get weird about their stuff from time to time.

I played through it once after they fixed the PM. I quite like the story and the visuals, especially in some of the spirit designs. Agree about the gameplay though. It can be a little cumbersome.

11.) One day I’d like to get to Japan. The only problem is that I’m not a fan of flying. At all. The thought of being what’s basically a high speed death tube way way up in the sky for close to 18 hours is just not something I think I can handle. Not without a metric fuckton of whiskey anyway.

10.) I don’t speak any other languages, but if I did it would either be German or Dutch. German because you can talk about flowers and sound like you want to rip someone’s head off. Dutch because it’s a fever dream of a language and some of the translations are funny as hell.

9.) Perfect date would be the first date I had with my wife. We talked music for hours, ate at this nice restaurant in a little riverside town. It was snowing and we were across from the station for a Christmas train. Santa gave us a wave. We walked around until we got a little lost. Best day ever.

8.) You’d probably have to ask my wife this one. I’m admittedly my own worst critic and it’s virtually impossible for me to compliment myself. Always makes me feel like I have an overinflated ego or something.

CyberTribal86 @cybertribal86.bsky.social · 22/04/2025

7.) Outside of VP, I have a love for art, though I don’t do much anymore myself. I’ve been heavily into music since I was young. I’m also a motorsports junkie - NASCAR, IndyCar, monster trucks, touring cars, etc, etc. I’m not easy to “put in a box” because my interests are so all over the place.

6.) Stoic (or at least I try my best) Really ever since I met my wife a decade ago, I’ve tried to keep the mindset of just taking life as it comes and focusing on the things I can influence. Shutting out the excess noise. It doesn’t always work as well as I’d like, but it’s definitely helped.

Stellar Blade “Paradise Apocalypse” *I felt like this one stood out really well on its own. Only needed a few minor edits to remove a few background elements in the sky to give it less of a “heat of battle” vibe. #StellarBlade #VirtualPhotography

4.) Italian on my mother’s side. Ukrainian on my father’s side. There are other things mixed in there, but I forget the specifics of the family tree. Mom’s got it written down somewhere going back generations.

CyberTribal86 @cybertribal86.bsky.social · 19/04/2025

3.) I started out posting some of my older VP from a variety of different games. Going forward the majority of my content is going to be from Stellar Blade with other games mixed in here and there. I try to be contrarian, so I’ll usually avoid whatever is brand new or super popular in the moment.

CyberTribal86 @cybertribal86.bsky.social · 19/04/2025

2.) I do VP on social media to get away from the craziness. BlueSky is nice because there isn’t the constant barrage of noise and bullshit that somehow always seems to get thrust upon you on other platforms. It’s more of a comfortable and uplifting environment in a really harsh and bitter time.

120

CyberTribal86 @cybertribal86.bsky.social · 19/04/2025

1.) I still maintain my Twitter, mainly due to the community pages I help with. Instagram I don’t use consistently for VP, and I haven’t posted on my personal Instagram in almost four years. I’ve reached a point in life where I value my privacy more than some brief attention from trying to show off.

Thank you. It’s easily one of my favorites of this generation (along with Alan Wake 2) and it’s such a joy to shoot. It really provides a lot of creative freedom.

When I started my NG+ run I had it in my head I was going to wait until end credits to decide if I wanted to post the shots. The expansiveness of the game, the camera controls, and the lighting system allowed me to experiment so much that I got carried away. 🤣

Been away for a bit, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been busy. I’m nervous about posting from this game since the online discourse always seems to devolve into bullshit, but I’m really proud of what I’ve done and I hope you can look past surface-level to enjoy. #StellarBlade #VirtualPhotography

After awhile I personally stopped even avoiding him and just harassed him repeatedly. 🤣 I ended up wasting so much time in RPD just goofing off in stupid chases.
