Just finished my 2nd Magic Puzzle Company puzzle, and both have felt akin to an event rather than passing time avoiding screens. Love the detailed Where's Waldo-esque style combined with the novelty pieces. This one I guessed the end surprise image in advance but it was still squee-worthy.

Thinking about my flavor of possible ADHD, I realized it really came on in the era of "content" where having to filter out unwanted, irrelevant info more & more and keep on scrolling also led to mentally opting out on everything that didn't immediately strike as interesting.

Remembered that I tried to use astrology to predict the release of the next loot-backwards album years ago. I used a short window of years which have since passed, no album to be found. But I did note I immediately thought it would be when the north node was in Capricorn (2028-2029). Hm. We'll see.

Venus goes retrograde in just over a day from now, echoing 2018, 2010, 2002, 1994 all in early-mid Scorpio. And Mercury (Sco), Mars (Leo), and Pluto (Aqu) are forming a t-square. This would be a good weekend to zen out & avoid internet noise (not that every day isn't, but this especially).

Started playing Blue Prince. It's on par with Myst so far as to taking notes for what reason who knows, but the reset maze puzzle every day is making me old man shakes fist at cloud. Every tiny inch towards progress gone, just like that.

Oops it's been five days. Generally feeling better than I was, though progress remains slow. Finally able to sustain focus without being reminded I'm tethered to a broken body, which has cut some the boredom down. Overdid it yesterday and was hurting for it, but yep. Slow progress.

I continue to be bummed about how slow it takes to heal enough to do normal things without feeling terrible. The good news is I'm not needing painkillers much, the swelling is visibly down (still feel it), and I've done a few little things to combat the boredom that I wasn't able to do a week ago.

I feel insignificantly different. So tired of the swollen feeling, and pretty sick of being forced into stillness. I've got just enough brainpower to be bored but not enough to do much about it. But it rained, and the air is that much cleaner, so there's that.

Not sure what to update about but trying to be consistent. Progress is slow. I'm getting antsy and bored. The good news is a bunch of annoying stitches fell out today. Backwards step on Thu/Fri aside, I imagine I'm not far off from feeling normalish again now.

About the same. Less painkilling but still pain/soreness. Still tired but maybe slightly less. Still swollen but it's been slowly going down and localizing. Am able to focus and multitask a little again, but at the price of headache. Trying to be zen but getting bored of forced stillness.

Slept more. Still sore. Exhausted. I've had numbness in one spot and it's finally tingling aka waking up again as of a few hours ago. Yay (also annoying). Am able to go longer without painkilling while awake. That massive adrenaline rush I had 42 hours ago made for some fine painkilling itself.

Slept finally. Woke up with my jaw super sore. Makes fine sense, given the high stress manhandling I've endured then talking probably way too much for where I'm at in healing. Shaken feeling has passed and now just... bleh. Afraid to do anything that might remotely cause problems again.

Astro: The eclipse made me squint real hard and look up what was going on the last time node was at 29 Aqu. I was super sick for a day, almost to the day. Doesn't repeat for 1989 AFAIK. But the Moon was about to cross into my Placidus 6th last night at eclipse time, so, hmm. Made me wonder...

Seems the answer is stay the course. I got poked and prodded and didn't bleed again, so they enthusiastically sent me on my way. 🤷 Apparently I'm healing well for the circumstances. I'm incredibly next level tired and will attempt to zone out shortly.

New post-surgery thread. I'm barely awake, have been up since 6 or 7am yesterday... and I'm off to another doctor soon to see the extent of my healing, talk about this past night's horrors, and what to do about what. New level of exhaustion.

I'm going to start a new thread after this post... but bleeding seems to have stopped since I got medication for it. Home now. Still really shaky. I was having a much improved day and feeling quite optimistic until suddenly I was bleeding again. Will find out more during office hours, I guess.

I started bleeding again circa 8-9pm Went to the ER. Waiting to see what's what now but the bleeding mostly stopped after I was given medicine for it. :( What a stressful fucking night.

Still just plain fucking exhausted and weak as hell. And sad. I slept again, with interruptions, but a little better. Pain is improving now as long as I don't do anything to set it off. Swelling is slowly going down. Stitches are irritating me. Prob a few days out from real improvement.
