had it install the big 312-item plasma metapackage overnight and all it did was make the terminal login prompt display like 4 times over the course of a few seconds. rc-update add display-manager default didn't do anything.
Picture of a laptop screen showing the linux terminal login prompt printed 5 times, at 8:41:55, 8:41:56, 8:41:58, 8:42:00, and 8:45:21, despite no user input at any point

in today's episode of "Search Engines All Suck Now", i'm having an issue with a vim extension where "^G" will appear where it's not supposed to, but every search engine I can find ignores the ^ and acts like I just searched "G", which does not produce very useful search results.

So, I'm looking for something like this: One program I can run on one of my servers, which has all the passwords and can see the inboxes of & send mail as any of my 3 addresses, which I can then connect to on all my devices either though a mail client or a webmail thing (4/5)
Diagram representing three different mail clients connecting to a box labeled "What I'm Looking For" with the same set of credentials, which then connects to three different email servers in a much more organized way than before.

Not quite, actually, since Thunderbird has no way of syncing settings between multiple devices, so whenever I set up a new device (or re-set-up an old one) I have to type all my credentials in again, and when one of my passwords gets reset I have to type it back in on all my devices. (3/5)

Usually this would be a pain since I'd have to use 3 different webmail pages, but my mail client, Thunderbird, supports multiple mail accounts, so I can have all of them in the same program. Great, right? (2/5)
