Many of my film critic friends have been pigeonholed into covering only Black film/tv. Of course they can discuss any film. When there are few multicultural shows, they can be passed over. Two of the best shows ever are Insecure & Snowfall. They poured money into a variety of LA neighborhoods.

Ex: When I was working in Atlanta, I hired a (Black) vegan chef who specialized in Caribbean dishes to have food delivered to my apartment. I was inspired by an Black actor who did similar (except the food was delivered to the stages).

I forgot to add something extremely important. I mentioned above that this return to the "Good Ol Boys" way in Hollywood not just affect actors, but writers, directors, DPs etc. But ALSO, the industry dismissal hits film critics, catering companies, what neighborhoods that are shot in and benefit

Interesting. I can add this film to a short list of horrors where the married couple survive. Poltergeist of course. I think another one was Wolf Creek? Maybe they weren't married. Just romantic partners and both survived?

Exteriors were shot in NYC in Oct 1944, then the cast spent two months on the Paramount lot.
