Yeah, this was super difficult. I limited myself to the first game of each series that I spent waaay too many hours in that shaped who I am today. Some honorable mentions to Xenoblade Chronicles which just barely missed the list to MGS1, X-Men Legends, and Final Fantasy X. my9games.net

LOL oof yeah, that is exactly why I struggled. Not to mention it goes back like 60 years for X-Men alone it’s way too much to keep up with. Let alone when an X-Man spends time in another character’s comic run

Same on X-Men 97! I grew up with the OG Animated Series and LOVED it so much so this series is giving me so much life. I’ve read some of the comics but there’s just so much of it that I couldn’t keep up. So I keep up with the broad strokes 😅

lol currently my hyper-fixations are : X-Men, FF7 Revelation, and Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter Remake. Don’t know if Gamescom will add to it yet or not, but the FF7 Revelation trailer has my eye already

Nothing yet, last year after the radiation the mass was showing signs of shrinking as expected so that was good. And this MRI is to check on it now a year later basically. Will know more in a couple weeks.

Had to get an MRI this morning on my mid back for the issues I did radiation for from last year to get new images and make sure it’s clearing up. The scrubs were surprisingly comfy. I would have much rather stayed in them than go back to work in my work clothes lol.

No so this is actually insane. Cause it’s shutting down before Revelation comes out. So no going back to compare how Cid/Vincent play or costumes or LORE that isn’t included in Revelation (especially Glenn & co.)? That’s WILD

Finished Ys X Proud Nordics last week. It was a lot of fun, though I do miss the party system of 8, 9, and Celceta. But Karja is a fun addition to the series. Not to mention the little tease at the end of Adol’s final adventure. Wonder if they’ll ever show that in a game someday.

Finally started up Ys X Proud Nordics and earlier this week. It’s been ages since I played an Ys game, but I feel extra bad at this one 😅. It feels like Falcom has started hating evasion in both Ys and Trails with the latest releases in lieu of an increase on face tanking/guarding.

The Trails series as a whole, start with Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter (the recent remake). It starts as a slow burner but the payoff is phenomenal. A very interconnected world that truly feels lived-in and alive.

It’s crazy, when I was preparing to go to college everyone said IT was the field to go into as you’d basically be set for life. Fast forward to this timeline. 😞

They got me having to come into the office more often now. Really missing the full time remote work environment and still job hunting to get back to that eventually. That is assuming the IT field still has jobs that haven’t been taken over by AI yet 😞

So fun fact: my analogy of calling a particular company I’ve worked at an abusive ex has been certified accurate by two separate therapists. Soooo there’s that. Anybody hiring IT application support positions?
