Hotelpreise in Toronto sind absurd hoch, Zahle ~230,- € / Nacht, in nem Standard Hotel, was hier evtl ~100,- € kosten würde. Aber offenbar kann man sich in Toronto sogar bis zu 392 €/Nacht erstatten lassen... ^^

Mail einer Studentin, die zur zeit ihre Abschlussarbeit bei mir schreibt:

Ich hatte mit Herrn Dr. X eine Problemstellung bei meiner Netzwerkanalyse in ArcGIS Pro besprochen, wo es um die Definition von Einbahnstraßen ging. Ich habe Chat GPT nach einem passenden Field Script gefragt, womit Einbahnstraßen erfasst werden. Laut ChatGPT muss nach der Definition von Einbahnstraße bei Restrictions im Field Script in "Along"

Value = !Ebene!
Python Script-Feld:
True

und bei "Against"
Value = !Ebene! == 0

eingeben. In meinem Datensatz für die Verkehrsrichtung steht 0 für "in beide Richtungen" und 1 für "Along", "Against" gibt es eigentlich nicht. Nachdem ich dieses Script angewendet habe konnte ein Network Layer erstellt werden und Routing funktioniert auch. Die KI sagt nach mehren Fragerunden, dass dieses Script Einbahnstraßen definiert. Deshalb wollte ich mir nochmal ein menschliches Feedback holen, ob dieses Script tatsächlich korrekt ist.
Und dann noch eine weitere Frage. Nach Prüfungsordnung muss ich KI-generierte Inhalte kennzeichnen. Reicht das, wenn ich das im Fließtext definiere oder muss ich ChatGPT als Quelle angeben?

Meine Antwort:

In ihrer Anfrage sind aus meiner Sicht mehrere grundsätzliche Annahmen zu korrigieren. Ziel einer Abschlussarbeit ist es genau solche Probleme selbständig zu lösen, indem man versteht was in diesem Script "vor sich geht".

Generell würde ich ihnen in solchen Fällen raten, die Antwort von ChatGPT nicht 1:1 zu Copy&Pasten sondern den Absatz/das Script selber zu formulieren und dann ggf eine "ordentliche" Quelle (Publikation) dafür anzugeben. ChatGPT/KI also nur als erste Annäherung/Erfassung einer Frage zu nutzen und dann auf ordentliche (wissenschaftliche) Publikationen und Quellen zurückgreifen.

Sie können KI zu Recherchezwecken verwenden (wie andere Suchmaschinen/Datenbanken), am Ende sind es aber immer Sie selbst, die das verstehen/reflektieren muss um es in der Abschlussarbeit verwenden (und als von ihnen selbständig erarbeitet zu Verkaufen) zu können. Sie sollten also am Ende einer solchen Recherche selber in der Lage sein zu verstehen, ob ihr Script korrekt ist.

And after the conference I spend some days of vacation in amazing #Tokio and did also a one day trip to Mt. Fuji. Only caveat for me is, that it was extremely hot (upper 30ies °C every day!) Next time I will go in Autumn or Srping to Japan. 5/5
