I don't know if this view is before or after the "They Live" sunglasses are put on.

Why do we elect people that don't keep up with current events ...? (Answer: we do, but they lie.)

I mean, if they show up for the interview late and say "Sorry I'm late, I had to grab a coffee ..." then maybe. Otherwise, who cares?

I go through weeks where I get pushed lots of press releases from UCP MLAs that I don't subscribe to. The algorithm: "He's from Alberta, he'll probably enjoy some lies and bullshit ..."

It always surprises me that the press never brings up Panama. Why would we trust a premier who isn't sticking around to feel the consequences of her bad policies?

I do realize that it's a bit ironic taking an electric guitar to a place called "Acoustic Music Shop"...

110

Chris Want @cwant@mathstodon.xyz @cwant.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

If it does go south, Rod at Acoustic Music Shop does good work (that's where I take my guitar for electrical issues ... I'm too chicken to repair things myself).

Amazon is the worst user experience of all the video providers. They know they can get away with it because a lot of people won't cancel their subscription because they want free shipping for their purchases. This type of bundling should never have been allowed.

Nice work. I went through an animation phase in the early 2000s, so I bought Williams' coveted Animator's Survival Kit book. (It was good, but I wish I had been talented enough to get more out of it.)

I heard on the radio that Montreal also has no pause between turning red in one direction and turning green in the other direction, which might also shape drivers' behavior to be more cautious (unlike Alberta, where everybody goes through red after a yellow light).

I agree that this sign is better, but that $20 milkshake better be outstanding (actually none of those prices say hole-in-the-wall).
