First reading project of 2025 will be another read of Bolaño's 2666, my all-time favourite book, but this time going through the five parts in reverse order. Has anyone else done that?

The first day of the new year is over and I'm still on track with my resolution to write every single day. Just a couple of hundred words, but it's a start! I hope my fellow writers are doing well too! #writing #writers

Winter is properly here now and I'll need to switch to proper boots when I randomly decide to go up into the mountains from now on... Took me half an hour to walk a kilometre downhill!

I've been at work teaching for most of the day - rewarding stuff since my students really are wonderful - but the best thing is to treat myself to a long walk after...

Astonishing - after years on the bird platform (as it was) I amassed 250 followers; I've been here a few days and I'm already connected to over a 100 wonderful people. Nice one!

I've just started reading Muriel Spark's "A Far Cry From Kensington." I think I'm in love and it's only been 20 pages. I don't think I'll be doing much else today but reading...
