Robin builds the real-time technology behind Runway Characters, Solaris and GWM Worlds. He led the research on Gen-Turbo, which brought high-quality video generation down from minutes to seconds, and helped build Runway’s Gen series of image and video models.

The elephant in the room of 3D reconstruction is light! We can use diffusion models to tackle this, but they come with a range of problems, e.g., they are very compute intensive and expensive, there's identity loss and don't really have 3D consistency at the moment.
