I totally recycled the graphics from last year and I'm holding myself from doing a complete overhaul of my characters' profiles since it's either complete self control or nah

I love drawing Max's desolate face so there's a close up for each page so far. Debating if I should keep up with it

found time to finish the test page annnnddd turns out that 1) I have no idea how comic artists do this as a job bc this took me an ungodly amount of hours and 2) I might have done the toughest page first because all the rest look less elaborate so this might be fun after all. Will report back

hi I wrote a blog post about this weird phenomenon of the collapse of fandom spaces, if you want to read that and/or don't know much about the history of internet fandom and why it sucks now, if you'd like to read that. jametc.bearblog.dev/we-have-an-a...

an anonymous tweet, "there's a real problem in this fandom now where every fan creation is for the content creators instead of for fans. content creators are breathing down our neck on twt and tumblr, many projects like fan zines are expected to be shared with them, the by-fans-for-fans atmosphere has slowly dissipated over time"

#ArtAdventCalendar day 7: Francis, from 2014 a tired old man who lives in the wreckage of a beached ship. he's very shy and likes to hide, worried he'll frighten people. that said, he can't stop the local children from bothering him and delights in putting on shows of magic and telling stories

a digital illustration of a humanoid mechanical being sitting on his knees in the snow. his body is made of dark metal and his head is made of off white bone. he is wearing a red dress. three ethereal blue flames dance around him, and his breath billows into the cold air

I was in an inspired mood... I was questioned which artists inspire me, one of the names that came up was Stalenhag. And it made me realize I never attempted to draw anything like his stuff, so I did an inspired piece, and I'm very fond of the outcome. #illustration #art

Again I offer you sketches done on stolen time until I'm done with my end of the year deadlines. After that who knows (Fully going insane about my gayass ocs again) [ #ocs: Mod and Maxy] #oc #ocsky #art #wip

A sketch of two characters, named Mod and Maxy. Maxy is knelt in front of Mod and looks upwards to the other, while Mod holds his head lightly. The sketch is a bit suggestive and reminiscent of the painting "Germanic Warrior looking at Roman helment", from which the sketch has taken inspiration from.
