The demo for this is absolutely fantastic! I HIGHLY! recommend setting pixel scaling to 1x so that the characters aren’t constantly sliding off grid. (thank you for allowing this yacht club it makes it look 5x as authentic! and it annoys me when I play shovel knight)

Can I be honest? I am more excited for The Big Catch than any other upcoming video game. The last time I was this hyped to play something was probably Spelunky 2 or Breath of the Wild. The utterly fantastic Tacklebox demo is the basis for my excitement. Hoping it releases soonish (this year)🤞

Red Dead Redemption 1 is a funny game. I love how fast and unrealistic it is whilst also having all the cowboy elements. Complete opposite to its sequel, but this gives them unique identities and staying power. One’s a life sim, one’s an action adventure.

Yoshi’s Story has probably one of the coolest life systems in a video game. The whole game is really experimental, but very flawed. Feels like something that should’ve been expanded upon but all future Yoshi games decided to either be “Yoshi’s Island: Again” or “Infant GooGooGaGa Game”

Very confusing change. Removes what little personality the thing had left in the font, and makes it red, which kinda makes no sense to me. Console is already “red” themed. The row of icons on the switch menu no longer contain an orange icon, but there are two reds. I don’t get it.

playin red dead 2 for the first time. game’s pretty damn good. i especially like how the game punishes you for playing it like a game, creating a compelling life-sim style experience. also I’m actually using my graphics card’s power for once. that’s nice.

Minecraft’s new ghast riding is just a LITTLE too twee for me to like it. Making it a smiley one turns something potentially cool into something that feels super afraid of making it look like the ghast doesn’t want to be ridden. Minecraft is too afraid of morally grey actions in a sandbox game!

I’ve yelled, screamed and been a grump about Hades 2 since release, and will likely never fully love the game, but these are some great changes. Does make me think some of the developers started a fresh save file between the last few updates and realised how SLOW the game was… I was right to yell!
